This place is dishonest. I bought a living social deal for an hour long massage here. The deal gave you info on how to setp an appointment. I repeatedly called and left messages attempting to setup an appointment. They never ever returned my call. No integrity and just plain bad business.

I really want to believe that this place is better than what I experienced. For this reason, I’m going to go ahead and say that they’re probably better at certain services than others. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. I came here for a reflexology massage. I had no idea what to expect and was pretty excited because the place was a bit of an adventure away and I was going to experience something new and indulgent! When I arrived, the outside of the location was really off putting. The driveway was muddy and the signage was not very apparent, but I kept my hopes up and strolled in. I was greeted by friendly and wonderful staff and when it came time to head back for my foot soak and reflexology massage, the process and details of the products were well explained to me. This is not where any of my issues came in. The foot soak was great and made me want to go to CVS and invest in a nice mini foot hot tub. So nice! So relaxing! Then I moved onto the massage table and got my arms and shoulders gently loosened up, though the oily hands on my clothes was not what I expected or really wanted. When she moved to my feet, I realized that this was really just a glorified foot rub that I could get from my fiancé with some strategic pleading. That said, I do want to believe in the principles of reflexology and the fact that the body has release points, which, with the right skills, can be activated with great results. This experience was not one of those times and I have yet to decide if I’m a true believer. The finish of the massage is what has turned me away from this place. In the explanation of treatments, this one sounded great! In reality, it caused me more pain. This particular treatment was a «roll out» or something of the sort, during which the masseuse rolls a bar over your back with a knob in the middle that fits over your spine and has magnets in it that will align things and… help? Anyways, she didn’t guide me in positioning and simply starting rolling this thing. It was rumbling and bumping my vertebrae all over the place and didn’t feel necessarily good, though it wasn’t bad or painful either. Less than 12 hours later, my back started hurting and I was getting incapacitating pains whenever I did normal things like yawning. I feel like this was a result of poor technique with this roll out bar and lack of instruction on what would work best for me and my body. While it sounds like a nice little treat at the end of the massage, it caused more damage and jaded me on this establishment. I will more than likely never return because it’s a bit far to risk more back injury on top of the troubles that I already have. I would recommend coming here for a foot rub if you’re so inclined, but I don’t believe in paying for that type of service when you most likely know someone who likes you enough to do it for free.
