Been going here(and the other SDtaco place for several years). I’d rate this place higher, but it truly is hit-or-miss. I’d normally give it 4.5, but tonight, its a 2.5(SLACKERS!!!). Sometimes they’ll make the most divine dish, other times like tonight, they make the most mediocre chimichange. I asked for them to make it crispy and to keep everything off of it, When I opened it, I got a barely fried burrito. VERY soggy. The tacos were good. While, their red & green salsa’s are a must have. their Pico(usually) tastes like crap. Only one time has it been fresh, usually its got that ‘fridge odor on the onions get and mealy refrigerated tomatoes’ thing goign on. I’ll still go here. Especially since the tacos are the only decent authentic place in this white bread area. Next time, I’ll go early in night(with better cook staff) and when I have more energy(to take it back to them to fix their mistake). Service wasnt great tonight. They kept eyeballing us wanting us to leave I guess. 30 min before closing they pulled out the most obnoxious smelling cleanser to clean the floor(I guess they couldnt wait till store was closed/customers gone to do this). I held my place and refused to be moved despite the mop clicking around my shoes.

We moved from California to Texas 2 month ago. Missed Cali burrito. This place is great. Love their shrimp taco most! But taste is still a little bit different from California Mexican food.

Went here on the recommendation of a coworker and made a huge mistake. I got the cheese enchilada and it was gross. I also got the chicken fajita taco and it was lack luster. The taquitos tasted like they were freezer burn. This location doesn’t even have a bathroom, which I feel is a code violation for a food establishment, but it would probably be sketchy as well. Definitely don’t go here.

Being born and raised in San Diego, I wasn’t really expecting all that much to begin with. They sell cheap tacos that are mostly onions and and cilantro. Definitely not real sd food but you get what you should be expecting.

Apparently there are lots of peeps who love this place. Steady line of patrons while we were there. We did not find anything particularly great. I had the Chili Relleno plate and she had the rolled taco. Maybe we did not order the right thing. The chili relleno was a partly cooked pablano breaded and deep fried, the cheese was not even melted inside. Rolled taco non-descriptive.

Great tacos. I love getting the hard shell chicken tacos and the man loves Carne asada, al pastor, chicken, you name it, he loves it. It’s a great little joint. If you order a plate, it’s very filling on the cheap. Win-win!

Taqueria style tacos are fair. Used corn tortillas on tocino y huevos tacos de desayuno. Salsa both red and green were bland. All in all, this is very generous 3stars because they don’t serve milk! The very basic of breakfast they don’t have. I give the stars I give for effort for autentico comida de Mexicano, but it just is very mediocre.

Went to this place to fulfill a late night craving for Tacos! I ordered my fave, PICADILLO… and my friend got the Fajita and Chicken. The flavor was really good, salsa had just enough kick, and they didn’t overdo the onions and cilantro!!! I think next time I will eat-in instead of going through the Drive-Thru. When I got home my tortilla was soggy… that’s my only REAL complaint! They have an extensive menu, I’m looking forward to trying something new next time! Excited to have Authentic Mexican Food so close to home…

San Diego tacos continues to perform. My son loves the super nachos. The rolled tacos(taquitos for the Texans) are the best with lots of Pico DE Gallo and guacamole! I will forever rave about there civeche! !!! I drive here just to get my «fix».

I love tacos. I have lived in Oak Cliff where taquerias are on every corner and I have tried most of them. I live in Dallas where they are plentiful and well regarded. I live in Texas where I have been to the border towns and had their food. San Diego tacos ranks among the very best. Excellent portions, flavors, the corn tortillas aren’t greasy, and the cerviche tostada is amazing. This location plus two in Irving and one in South/East Dallas… go!

This is definitely a late night greasy, YUMMY go to spot! The food tastes authentic, it’s cheap and consistently DELICIOUS! My favorite is surprisingly the lengua street taco on a corn tortilla. If u dare to taste cow tongue, do it here. I also enjoy the chicken taco combination on flour tortillas and a chicken torta and the chicken quesadillas. The agua fresca de melon is good too. Heck! Everything is good. I can’t comment on the inside because we always use the druve thru. My only complaint is that my order has been incorrect on more than one occasion which annoys me but at least the food I never ordered tastes good. Lol!

Cheap, high quality, fast. What else do you want? Authentic? You got that, too. Stopped here almost by chance while in the neighborhood, and decided to give it a try given the good reviews… It was worth every penny! First, it’s good value for money: a drink, a quesadilla, and 5 tacos set us for only $ 13. Then, the food was authentic, reminding me of street tacos found around Mexico. Third, it was fast — just like tacos should be. All in all, this was a Pleasanton autori se and we’ll definitely be back if we’ll be in the area again. P.S. — Compared to Guisados in L.A. this would be 4 stars, but compared to Dallas-average this is 5 stars.

I love the carne asada tacos. The fajita taco is ok. I love the pico de gallo and cilantro but I don’t like the raw onions. I wish they offered the pico de gallo without the extra charge. I haven’t tried anything else but I would like to try their quesadilla.

Okay, I’ll admit I’ve never actually been here, but the food is very good! I rarely have authentic Mexican food, but the tacos are legit here! Not anything like the typical tex-mex tacos you get around here.

The food is still good, but the last 2 times I’ve gone they’ve tried to overcharge me. If it happens once, it’s probably a mistake. If it happens twice, then it seems like they’re purposely being deceitful and trying to steal from their customers. If you realize they overcharged you… don’t look at your receipt to guide you because they don’t give you an itemized receipt. So you don’t know WHAT exactly you paid for. Also, my husbands hates cilantro. While ordering at the drive-thru, we actually made a point to ask if cilantro was on the tacos, nachos, etc. and we said«no cilantro, please.» When we received our order I actually laughed out loud, because his tacos were COVERED in cilantro. Ridiculous.

Updated 7−29−14 Decided to try their tacos! Real authentic Mexican tacos. They do offer corn and flour, flour is 50 cents more. Love their tacos, loaded with all the regular vegetables. And usually the green hot sauce is hotter than the red, but both sauces are very hot and delicious, I would usually depend on the green hot sauce for the extra kick, but red is just as hot! I like this place because it is in north Richland hills, not a sketchy type place. I like that I can get real tacos from a place I feel safe at.

I regret getting cheese enchiladas. I should have gotten tacos. The cheese in half of my enchiladas wasn’t even melted. Hubby really liked his carne asada burrito and little man got a gigantic cheese quesadilla. I’ll go back and try tacos next time. I also want to see how their breakfast tacos are — I’ve been looking for some good ones.
