The worst customer service ever!!! Never go here. I did a to go order and they didn’t want to make it right. They told me they would not refund for merchandise promised, called my bank to dispute and gave the food back!!! They think that they shouldn’t make it right when they don’t give u the appetizer you ordered on a $ 30 ticket. I called them about it. I just wanted what I paid for!!! They hung up on me, tried again-​they hung up again. I was nice, I just wanted wanted what I ordered. They don’t care about customers and they don’t care if your order is right. I didn’t even try the food, I gave it back, with «help» like there’s I’m sure it’s not good!!!

There are Asian-​American food places all over the place. Lately the new Asian-​fusion places have given us much variety.
But the classics still have a place in my heart. Like most in my upbringing were the basic dining experiences with hot tea served early, barbecued pork and egg rolls. Then the combo meals came out and it was enough food to choke a horse. Followed by the ever-​positive fortune cookie promising wealth untold.
This place is a classic. Even the restaurant is old and classic. Again classic as in being from the 80’s, not the Ming Dynasty. Not a romantic atmosphere, or hip by any means. But the staff are polite and welcoming.
The food: is very good. Really tasty wonton soup broth, with a tasty wonton filling. And the classic chicken chow mein was refreshing and delicious. There’s a few classics in the Cities that leave me with a greasy gut and I wonder if I should go back. This was good. I will be back.

The out side needs some work. The food is real good and lots of it. It is well going back for for more. I’m going to go back soon. Give it a try

This restaurant provides fast service, low prices and delicious food. They have many meal combos and single items to choose from. We got combos two and eight with an order of crab puffs to go. The food was served fresh and hot, it was some of the best Chinese food I have ever had, and it was only $ 25 for the entire order we have enough food leftover for two more meals. This restaurant delivers.

Service was terrible, food was just as bad. However, the portion sizes were great for the pricing so if you want a lot of bland food for a small amount of money this place is good for that. But I really would just suggest going somewhere else.

Decent food but literally the worst service I have ever had– and I have been here twice. The worst service I’ve ever had TWICE.

I normally don’t post restaurant reviews since I expect that if the food and service is decent that a review is not necessary. I ordered a meal from this restaurant and asked for a side hot chili oil. When the owner gave me the bag with my dish in it, I asked if the oil was in with the order. I looked in the bag and saw a white paper bag that I mistakenly assumed had fried won ton chips in it. She grabbed the brown paper sack from me, pulled out the white paper bag and waved it at me telling me that the chili oil was in the bag. Her tone of voice was very condescending and when I asked her for another container of chili oil, she turned her back to me to seat some new arriving guests and told me to wait for her to seat the other guests. Now typically a server would not seat a new arrival before finishing with a customer.
This lady was so discourteous that I will never return to the restaurant. It’s quite interesting that a business with an owner that has this type of attitude towards her customers can stay in business.

I love this place. The food quality is always consistent and never falters. The staff is fairly friendly and they know our order every time. I love going here for lunch with my wife, it’s her favorite.

This is the BEST Chinese food I’ve ever had and I have been to at least 10 different places so far in several different cities. I ordered take out and it’s ready in 10mins. The food is fresh and delicious! I ordered the sweet and sour chicken, pork fried rice, shrimp, and fried wontons. Aside from the amazing taste, the prices are great for the quality and and quantity of food.

Every time I come to Richland, I visit here. Some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in the last 5 years. I recommend the pork fried rice and the almond chicken (which is typically what I always get). Fast take-​out at a reasonable price. I can make a combo last me 2 – 3 meals.

This is my absolute favorite Chinese food place, and now that I’ve moved I’m legitimately concerned I’ll never find as good of sweet & sour chicken anywhere.
I see people complaining about the décor but to me that doesn’t affect that it’s good food, and I see people talking about the owner but I’ve never seen her be anything but polite.
Anyway, I will certainly miss living down the street from here.

Amazing! Fresh, wonderful Chinese food! Low prices, ginormous servings! Been coming here for 16 years, and its always great! We love the funny, bossy waitress, and always hope she’s working when we’re there!

I really loved this place until recently. I tried the Mongolian beef and right after eating it got deathly I’ll. I’ve never been so sick it came out both ends. It ruined this place for me and I can never go back nor eat Chinese food for a long time.

Minus the bust a couple of years ago where they we’re buying meat out the back door of the restaurant, the food is good! Usually there is plenty of seats available and a very friendly staff! Portion sizes are big for the price.
Let’s put it this way, when you’re broke and in college this is the place to go! Guaranteed leftovers!

Best Chinese food in the Tri-​cities. I know because I have had them all. General tso’s is fantastic.

This restaurant is wonderful! Very clean and yummy food! They take very good care of their hygiene and the bathrooms shined! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Stop in and try the beef and broccoli or the almond chicken! Delicious!

This will be my final trip to Golden Palace, which is a shame because for «cheap Chinese» food this place is great. No my reason for not returning is the owner.
I’ve been eating here for years and just dealing with her unacceptable behavior /​attitude. Today was just the straw that broke the camel’s back. I have never seen an owner behave like she does. Completely stark raving mad, biggest bitch I’ve ever dealt with in a professional setting, psychotic and rude. She screams at customers (including me today for wanting a substitution), calls you names (stupid, idiot, retard etc), takes phone calls on a Bluetooth while your ordering, the list goes on and on.
It’s a good thing this piece of work owns the restaurant because she would be fired from anywhere else. Makes Seinfeld’s soup Nazi look like Santa Claus. As much as I appreciate good food in Richland, I hope she fails. Would be a zero review if I could. Boycott the Golden Palace!

I was craving Chinese food and decided to try this place out based on reviews. It was close and I wasn’t looking to go far! The price was definitely right! They have combos for 8 bucks that include soup, tea, and a fortune cookie. I got combo 6 but got sweet and sour chicken instead of pork. I was amazed when my food was brought out. It was enough to feed a family of four. The food was good, not amazing, but definitely good value! Service was fast. I did not have to wait long to get my food either! All in all good experience!

Two words. THE SPECIAL! The special consists of a chicken and veggie dish, sweet and sour chicken (Fried chicken pieces with Sweet and Sour sauce for dipping) BBQ Pork, Friend rice and crunch noodles for the chicken dish. It is a bit over $ 9.00 after tax but is awesome for 2 people.
This has been the only thing I have ordered in the 10 years or so since living in Richland and I order it every time I am back in town. If you call ahead you will still wait at the restaurant for a bit no matter how long after the «15 mins» you show up.
If this is your first time, or you have never ordered The Special, do yourself a favor and make the easy decision.

This is the legit Americanized Chinese food. When ever I come home to visit my parents and am in the mood for Chinese food I go here. Its become a comfort Food and a place where I compare all other Chinese foods to. I’ve only had one place that was better and that was a place in Bellevue that I go to all of the time.
I recommend getting either the kung pow chicken or the sweet and sour chicken. Also get some of their chicken wings they are amazing.
