The WORST place to eat!!! Save your money. I ordered a chicken gyro and it came with fries, the chicken tasted like it had been reheated, dry, and gristly. The pita bread was stale and falling apart, barely and I mean barley any sauce. The fries were greasy and not done. I can’t believe they would serve something so nasty. They do not deserve one star. If you want good Greek food go to Greek Islands off of Gauge.

Went again, craving some more delicious Italian food. On a Friday night there was a live band playing music, taking requests from the crowd, very nice atmosphere(albeit a bit too loud to think about other things). I started with the bruschetta, delicious other than the black olives. I like black olives, prefer them on my pizza, but on the bruschetta they were too salty, and it would have been perfect without them. The lasagna was average, the portion size larger than Ethos, the sauce a tad on the acidic side, but still gobbled all up. It came with a side salad with house vinaigrette, very nice fresh and crisp greens, nothing fancy but solid salad. Finished with the Tiramisu, and a great ending it was. Luscious marscapone, not too much espresso powder or coffee flavor, lady fingers very plump, it disappeared too. I have definitely enjoyed both trips to Venezia, and it’s by far the best Italian in North Richland. I prefer it to Ethos, where you pay more and get less.

I had the veal Marsala. If it was veal, it was grossly over cooked. My husband had the calzone. The flavors were good, but it was burnt. Wouldn’t go back.

The food is kind of hit or miss. The lasagna was great, the souvlaki not so much. The annoying thing is they refuse to split the check so as to not make customers wait. This means if you are here with a group you must have cash and work the tab out amongst yourselves. This adds a lot of awkwardness during business lunches. I came to eat, not practice being a cashier.

Never been before. A little out of the way, but figured it wouldn’t be crowded on a Friday night. It wasn’t! Service and food were great. Parmesan chicken was excellent as was my wife’s lasagna. Next visit will be a calzone or pizza! The restaurant also has a nice little bar area. We’ll definitely be back with friends.

So glad they are open for dinner now. We had a really good meal which was delicious. The breadsticks are the best I’ve ever had. And the service was great.

This place cannot be recommended. The food is hardly italian. Their coffee is cold. The lamb is undercooked. Don’t even try their giros.

Convenience matches simplicity. Venezia’s(usually) has quick service, good food, and can seat groups pretty easily. Also great for take out. Salads are great, but I still think the calzones are the best food option(worth the extra wait), especially the gyro calzone; good mix of the Italian and Greek theme Venezia’s strives for. Suggestion: in the spring, summer, and fall – hire a college student or two with bikes to deliver food around to the various businesses and labs in the area. Given that NOOTHERPLACEDELIVERS out there, I’d gladly pay an extra dollar for delivery and offer a tip to the rider.

Had an excellent gyro made of the proper gyro meat(beef/lamb) heated in the proper fashion with the right amount of tzatziki sauce. The fries were also good, which was a nice plus. Convenient little spot for lunch.

I had lunch here on with my wife during the middle of the week. We split a rather large piece of the sausage and pepperoni pizza they had which was very good. Also, my wife had the sausage sandwich and I had the gyro salad which both were great. Service was prompt and good.

Italian sausage sandwich was a really good value, and located right off of the main PNNL campus. This is a good and reasonably priced place to grab lunch while in the area.

(This is a «lunch only» place…) Eat here regularly since it is right near my office. Glad to have the choice to just walk there and get a good meal without a drive, waiting or other hassle. Having eaten here for years, thought it was time to write a review; this is labeled as an «Italian» restaurant but it is really a Greek/Italian restaurant. I tend to stick with the Greek selections… souvlaki, gyros, etc. Always fresh, quick and tasty. They also have great homemade soups each day that are really good. For a quick and easy lunch, they have a slice of pizza and salad combo that always satisfies and is very fast if you want to take it back to the office. Can’t comment on the Italian selections much but from the looks of them, they are pretty standard. Only criticism I would have are that the prices are a little steep for a lunch-time restaurant. However, the service is always good, consistent and friendly.

You can not go wrong with their calzones! Fresh dough, thin flaky crust and a side of marinara to dip in or pour on with! I have never had a complaint about the food here. I work in the area maybe twice a year and I always make a point to eat here and at Mr. Woo’s! If you go during the«Lunch Hour» rush the place will be packed and it will take awhile to get your food. The kitchen is only so big yet the dining room is huge… so beware. I went today at 1:20pm. Place had maybe 4 – 5 tables with waitresses finishing their sidework so there was plenty of service available. My colleagues had the eggplant Parmesan and the other had the chicken Alfredo add spicy! Both looked awesome and both people were happy… These guys eat here when they can too! Next time I’ll have to try the Gyro Calzone!!! Closed after 2:30… So not so good for dinner! They take Amex!

I moved from Seattle not too long ago and have been dying to find good restaurants around here. I am a food snob and enjoys variety. This place isn’t too shabby. I have yet to get their italian food because I really enjoy their greek food. I’ve had the lamb souvlaki, gyro plate with salad and gyro salad. I am a fan of all 3. I espeially like their tzatziki sauce on pretty much everything. You can tell and tastes everything is freshly made. Service is decent and the food comes out pretty quick too. I’m not really much of a person to care about décor or location because I’d go to a hole in the wall restaurant to eat good quality and tasty food over some fancy establishment and get crap food. Location? Really, it’s not that far away. Although, I do understand if you have a short lunch, that might not be your first choice. And the complaint about the fries… ok this is a greek/italian restaurant. That’s like going to a chinese restaurant and asking them to make gyros for you and expect it to be out of this world. If you want good fries, go to a diner or a fast food place.

My dad works around where this place is and every once in a while he’ll take us here on his off Friday’s. The first time I went, I had the Gyro. Since I have an affection for these things, I like to get them when I can. This one did not disappoint, though it wasn’t anything special, it was just a classic Gyro. The fries were not the best, though. The second time I went I got the Chicken Parmigiana. OHMAN!!! I don’t think that I’ve cleaned a plate like that in a while! It was fantastic. The chicken was sauteed(instead of fried like Olive Garden) and it was tender, seasoned well and delicious. It was topped with their delicious house marinara and imported cheeses. Really fantastic! It came with a side of really good pasta topped with more of that awesome sauce. The other’s food was equally great and the prices were decent and they’ve just started a deal where you get 10% off your check if you come in after 1:00. Cool! Service is decent, but nothing special, ditto on the décor. The biggest drawback to this place is the fact that it’s so far out and its hours are really short. I wish they would open one closer to town with better hours then I’d be there… a lot.

Why do people continue to go here? Oh yeah, because you can walk there from work. Guess location is everything. for almost 4 years now I randomly go there after I forget about my last experience. And then leave annoyed. Really annoyed. Wont be happening again! Fries — little frozen shoestring types, served limp and greasy. Ordered an Italian sub sammich, had some sort of strange deli meat. Ok, now Im not expecting gourmet, but when its obviously some ground up and recompressed grade D meat, where you can see random fat cubes pressed into the liquid meat mold. Pizza, its blandsville. Fine if you have no taste buds or are really old and cant handly any spice/flavor. Last time I went, service was pretty abysmal too. My friend and I were both sitting there laughing it was so bad. I know lunch is busy but I just love being ignored, know what I’m sayin’? I dont like to just trash on a place, but seriously, *every* time I leave here I’m so annoyed at myself for going and am in awe how they stay in business. I will never go back to this place again. I think it could be better if they maybe just upgraded some of the meats a tad bit as well as the fries(or cooked them longer). But hey, if you have a guaranteed captive audience, who cares, right??? Edit: awwe man, review #100 wasted on this place? Booooo

Unfortunately, I work out in the desert away from town – so, I’m generally reduced to PB& J sandwiches, Top Ramen, cactus, or rabbit for lunch. Every once in a while I get into town around lunch time, and some recent opportunities have given me the chance to stop by Venezia. First off, I should say this is not only an Italian restaurant, but also serves Greek cuisine as well. As Dave A. mentions, this restaurant survives wholly on the PNNL population for lunch-time customers. I’d agree and say it would be nice if they were opened for dinner, but oh well. The last two times I’ve gone I’ve gone for whatever the Special was. Both times I was there it was a Greek item: Gyro and some other beef dish. Whoa Nelly, they were tasty! The meat was seasoned very well, and the overall meal was great. The restaurant is simply laid out and has a diner-feel to it. Next time I’m in town for lunch, I’ll definitely make another stop for some yummy grub!
