I’ve been here and worked in private lessons with Candice and Anne. They are both very patient and positive. Very clean and bright facility. There are lockers for you to put your belongings next to the office area. The massage area is off in a different area so there isn’t noise.

From the moment you turn into Suite 100, the ambiance of this softly illuminated, roomy facility grabs your mind and relaxes you. They have every piece of GYROTONIC equipment and offer this exercise hour in private and semi-private sessions. I was impressed with their organization and the feeling of the custom space. GYROTONIC is not readily available too many places in St. Louis. And Body Fusion is centrally located at Hanley and Clayton. This is a place I highly recommend to someone who is mending or looking for more flexibility.

I received one of the best massages ever. I sit behind a computer all day working so my shoulders and upper back tighten up all the time. Anne Thomasson was able to remove the tension from my shoulders, back, and forearms. It was so great and relaxing, I fell asleep.

After pulling off two big moves in the past 5 months, lugging around heavy boxes, unpacking our lives and doing intensive house and yard work, I needed a massage – badly. Anne Thomasson at Body Fusion was a godsend for an aching body and I feel like I won the therapist jackpot! This is saying quite a lot, considering my mother was an excellent massage therapist for many years. I’m relieved to have found Anne. Body Fusion is not a spa – it’s just a suite in an office building. There’s a comfortable treatment room and another larger room where Anne works with clients doing Gyrotonic training(something I have no experience with, but worth noting anyway as she is one of four individuals in the area who is certified in Gyrotonics). Anne is also certified by the AMTA(American Massage Therapy Association), which I love and respect due to the high level of professional development and continuing ed required by the organization. She’s been doing massage for around 15 years and her skills and experience are obvious. Towards the end of our session, she said she’s the type of therapist who likes to find something to work on, rather than just doing a regular ol’ relaxation massage(not that she won’t do that, of course, she just prefers to find an area that needs some extra attention and work it out). This is exactly what I was looking for in a therapist and I’m looking forward to visiting Anne on a regular basis. I’m also just plain happy to know her, especially as a newcomer to the area who isn’t quite sure where to turn for more natural healing options. Because Anne has been working as a therapist in this field for many years, she’s well-connected with physical therapists, chiropractors and naturopaths and she seems happy to give referrals. And she’s just a sweet woman! Massage sessions are $ 70/hour, which is not the cheapest massage I’ve ever had, but I haven’t had this good of a massage since my mom was around either, so I say it’s well worth it. And as the daughter of a massage therapist, I definitely know they have to make a living, too, after all. :)
