It’s an okay restaurant. It’s clearly ran by a family as a family business.
I think they should invest in a chef to make and Prep meals for the restaurant. As well as a great bartender. This could take the restaurant to the next level where it needs to be.
Prices are extremely affordable and I don’t mind walking in and having lunch alone.
It’s comfortable and feels roomy.

The food lacks any finesse. Bland and or the oil is old and needs to be changed. I actually had a bone in my chicken empanada…
If you order from here expect everything to be soggy. The service time is ok not great or horrible. The last time I ordered from here was two nights ago I was disgusted by the food. They also gave me bad sour cream.
I gave this place two attempts and I think that it was consistently bad. No need to try it again. If you are inebriated and getting off the A train somewhere near here then it maybe a drunken feast but other than that maybe this place should invest in a cook or shelf stable food…

Food is very tasty. Service is excellent. COzy, mom and pop shop.
Favorites on the menu: café con leche, morir sonando. steak and onions (very generous portions), maduros, chimi burger…
chicken chimi is my least favorite.
