I went there today thinking I was getting my all over color and highlights! Not! The lady says we are doing touch ups! She did end up doing highlights but didn’t tell me it was not the highlights we usually use! I was very disappointed and still had to pay for it! I guess she was not concerned because it was her last day there! But I thinks it’s bad to pay full price and your happy with the service!

A coworker recommended this salon to me. And since her hair was good advertisement, I decided to give it a try. I am very leery of going to new stylists. It makes me nervous that I’m going to someone who doesn’t know a thing about cutting and styling hair. I’m very glad I decided to try Beauty and the Barber.
Stacy is polite and courteous. She took the time to ask me specifically what I was looking for and even offered suggestions. She realized that my «layers» were uneven. She took the time to explain to me that in order to even out the layers she would have to cut a little shorter than I was asking for. I agreed with her decision. I mean, it’s hair. It will grow back. I was very pleased that she didn’t just go ahead and chop it off and then when I looked at final product I would be shocked at how short it was. I appreciated the fact that she told me ahead of time and made sure I was OK with the idea.
I also love the fact that her prices are affordable. You won’t break the bank with a salon visit here.
I’m due for a trim and all I can say is I have no fears in returning to Stacy to cut and style my hair. I have found my salon.

For me, this was an exceptional experience. For them, I was a horrendous customer. Despite sleeping through my first appointment and thinking I had cash to tip when I didn’t, Stacey was nothing but welcoming, professional and friendly. She took my hair from a tangled rat’s nest to exactly what I wanted (not a rat’s nest) even though I had no idea how to convey in the proper terms what it was I wanted. (I sound like a real swell client, don’t I?)
The salon is large, open, clean and modern. It’s decorated very nicely without being pretentious or over the top. It’s a really comfortable space. Parking is ample. Prices are incredibly modest for the skill level of the stylists.
I’m really glad I stumbled across their Groupon, and will be a repeat customer! (hahah, presuming they’ll allow it!)

Great experience! Rachel was awesome, she really took her time and gave me exactly what I wanted… the low price was just an added bonus :) The atmosphere was clean and professional. I was very pleased and will be back again!

I came here after getting a groupon for the superbowl. It was a men’s cut with shampoo and hot towel service at the end. I typically get a buzz cut at Great Clips but wanted something different because of a lack of consistency at Great Clips. I went in and told the stylist I wanted a crew cut and she proceeded to ask me a bunch of questions that I feel a stylist who cuts men’s hair should know. I wasn’t sure what guard I wanted because I haven’t had a crew cut before but told her I always got the #1 on the sides and #2 on the top for my buzz. At the end she asked if she should take some off the top or leave it. Considering I was getting a new style she wasn’t very helpful. The shampoo and towel service was really nice, something I am not used to with the places I go to. The haircut turned out decent, although she went shorter on one temple than the other so it didn’t look as even. Their products are very overpriced. I wanted new hair paste and my wife picked one up and the lady said that it was $ 13.99 and 20% off. It was actually $ 13.99 with the 20% off but I didn’t know that until after we had purchased it. The same product is on
for less than $ 11 and free shipping. I would not go back here even with the other good reviews. It just wasn’t a good experience for me overall, and I would have been even more upset if I had paid the full price which would have been $ 25.

The place is beautiful and very spacious! However what a place looks like has nothing to do with the service you receive. I had never been there before I bought a Groupon that gave two manicures for the price of one. So I made an appointment and went on in. The manicurist was very pleasant that I’ll give her. Sadly the manicure was the WORST one I’ve ever had. She doesn’t know what she’s doing at all. She was scared to use the tool that cuts cuticles, leaving skin and sharp edges. She couldn’t hold my hand right to file my nails so they were all uneven and mis shaped. Her nail painting skills were like a five ur old. It was AWFUL! I kid you not when I left I went to my normal nail place and had a second manicure to fix what she didn’t do. So needless to say that second (free) manicure, they can keep that, because I will NOT be going back!

Awesome salon, very spacious and clean with tvs at the stations. Stylists are experienced and professional. Services include men’s haircuts, shampoos with hot towel, men’s camo color, women’s cuts, color, highlights, styling, facial waxing and make up! Great prices in a relaxing atmosphere.

I have gone twice and had different stylists each time. I wont be going anywhere else to get my hair done. Tonight my at home dye job was fixed up and highlights added… my hair looks great! The salon is stylish and clean. The stylists are professional, kind, and knowledgeable. Their prices are on par with others in the area and they have evening hours. They have waxing and nail services too.

Absolutely wonderful atmosphere! Stylists are great, attentive and cheerful! Complimentary drinks and such a clean space. It’s refreshing being able to feel like you can relax with your stylist while getting pampered.

Absolutely refreshing! I haven’t been to a barber in years. (shave my own head with a 2-​guard) I decided to give this one a shot, and now I am addicted. Great haircut. Great people. Stacey is fantastic! Hot towel wrap AND a massage. Relaxing and refreshing. You will not be disappointed!
