A quiet place to go eat lunch. It’s a pretty unimpressive location and is a whole in the wall. This place makes«quiet» places sound loud. The steak au fromage rounds out the palette with the aioli giving it a great finish, not to mention that you can’t argue with the price. This is one of those places, where I’d like to work my way around the menu because I think I’d be well surprised and still not spend too much either.

I work around the corner and I eat here at least once a week, if not more.(if I am in my office at lunch, I go here for lunch). I am a sucker for consistency. I always order the same thing. Turkey Club with Fries and a side of Chipotle mayo.(if the owner is reading this, she knows who I am), but today I was drawn in by the special of the day. I was checking my mail before lunch and saw the listing for today’s special — Cajun Cream and Chicken Pasta with butter toast. I love spicy food and this was amazing. A hearty helping of pasta and 6 or so pieces of grilled chicken on top was delicious. I always get carry-out, so taking a picture to post here would not do it justice, as it gets moved around on the walk back to the office. Looking forward to this being on the menu again!

2 stars for service 4 stars for food/drink This was my second time visiting(the first time I sat down at table for lunch), and I left today unsatisfied. I ordered a sandwich and fries to go and sat at the bar to enjoy your new ABC license while I waited. The restaurant was entirely empty. I asked the woman behind the bar about the craft beer selections and in the middle of her answer, some guests came in and sat at a table behind me. She stopped our conversation, said«hold on while I get this table,» and she never came back to the bar until my to go order was ready. No booze for me I guess. So I asked about a latte. She says she doesn’t know how to use the drink machine and searches for someone who does. The hostess ended up making my latte, while the table behind me enjoyed their drinks and eventually their food before I ever even had a drink in my hand. The server never said another word to me, no thank you, no goodbye, no I’m sorry, nothing. The hostess kindly answered several questions for me about happy hour specials and other menu items and even up sold me on one of those silly fruity bottled drinks on my way out. That tip was for her(I hope). I live across the street and so do hundreds of others in a large apartment complex. I really wanted to be a regular here, but now I don’t know. Thanks cooks for making me a sandwich off the menu. Tastes great!

The food here is really good! I got the Tijuana Chicken sandwich and the side salad. I was extremely satisfied. The service was great too. The hostess and waitress were both really friendly and helped a lot with recommendations. I will definitely eat here again!

Went for lunch. Cute place, friendly staff, food was good(especially the homemade chips!) and out quickly. Didn’t order any coffee, but the coffee bar looked extensive and well put together. Especially working downtown, it’s nice to see a quality place that you can sit down and have lunch without spending as much as you would for dinner. Does it WOW? No(not every restaurant needs to). Do they have a repeat customer in me for lunch? Absolutely.

The service was pretty good. The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t much above standard. I had the Tijuana chicken and a cup of the french onion soup. The sandwich was pretty good quality. Everything just felt like it came semi-prepared and the kitchen more or less assembles it. For a pretty quick and decently priced lunch, I would go back.

My streak of good places to eat continues. What a pleasant surprise this place was. I got a steak au fromage baguette and french fries. The ingredients were good quality and the whole meal cost just $ 7 and change! I will add this place to my lunch rotation. Only negative is the lack of off-street parking. But it is in a quiet side street and there is usually a couple of spare spaces next to parking meters. Edit. been back couple of more times. The crêpe with chicken was not all that good and the onion rings tasted average. The salad was good although it came with no bread like the menu stated. I notice the place is also a lot busier now from when it first opened. It is alway nice to see small businesses do well.

Food is cheap and DELICIOUS. The food is really good quality as well. I have been back a few times and it only gets better. The staff is so friendly and are so happy to help you. Really nice to feel welcomed! If you are a downtown worker, this is a fantastic lunch spot. Well done, Café Le Ville!!!

So happy to have Café Le Ville! I work around the corner from them and was very happy to have something«fresh» available for lunch option. My co-workers ordered several times from there and they rave about this place constantly, so I finally decided to try them. I ordered the Southerwestern Wrap with onion rings… for $ 5.50! You absolutely cannot beat that deal. First of all, the onions rings were the best I’ve ever had. Huge and fried to perfection. Crunchy, full of flavor and not oil drenched. I ate them up first, sans ketchup, because they were amazing. The wrap, was just as amazing. I loved the wrap itself, soft and almost chewy, just perfect. The filling was perfect, not too much, not too little and nothing was overpowering in flavor… you could literally taste each ingredient. I hate how some places slather their wraps in mayo or sauce and that is all you can taste. The aioli used was perfect, just enough to add flavor. I can see why my co-workers have been ordering weekly from this place. I will definitely continue to order and can’t wait to try more on their menu.

It is so utterly refreshing that Café Le Ville is here! I have just had my 3rd meal in 2 wks. Clean, warm & inviting restaurant, a friendly & knowledgeable staff, who actually know what’s on the menu & can make recommendations if need be! The biggest plus is that it’s the food is fresh, not frozen from the restaurant supply store. On opening day, I had the Lumberjack Omelet. To my surprise it’s made with real eggs, fresh spinach leaves, fresh sliced mushrooms, real cheddar(not American cheese), ham & sausage. I asked for it well done(yes, I know how eggs are supposed to be eaten, but it’s how I like them). ITWASDELICIOUS! Seasoned perfectly! Considering eating an omelet more than once a month now. Second meal was the Famous French Dip w/my side soup of French Onion. How refreshing it was to find out that I could have the French Onion soup offered as my side for just $ 1.50 extra. All I have to say about the meal is that it was FANTASTIC! It was very filling, I ate ½ for lunch & the remainder for dinner. I can’t wait to have it again; but I have now vowed to eat my way thru the menu :-) Just finished my third meal; which was the Le Ville Burger w/a side of fries. I asked for it medium-rare & it was perfectly cooked & seasoned & finished. The brioche bun fantastic! The fries cooked like fries should be cooked, crispy on the outside with the meatiness of the potato on the inside & perfectly salted. I did manage to make it out alive without getting dessert.(The apple pie has my name on it) Café Le Ville is new, needed & appreciated. The price point for the quality of food is very refreshing & welcomed. I look forward to sampling the menu. Café Le Ville has officially been added to my regular restaurant rotation. I will make sure that I refrain myself a little before I devour my next meal so that I can take a picture.

I want to give this place a chance, so I’m rounding up from 2.5 stars to 3, because the food was eh, but the service was excellent. Café Le Ville has only been open for a week, and they have got the service down pat, but seriously need to work on the quality of the food. The previous restaurants in this location really struggle because it’s a pretty dead area, and in order to survive, Café Le Ville needs to step up its game in the kitchen. The servers and bartenders were very friendly, very helpful, they kept everything really clean, which I definitely appreciate. The cost is definitely affordable, which was surprising based on the look of the interior. I got a sandwich, side, cup of soup, two cookies and a mini cupcake all for under $ 14. They make their desserts in-house, so I chose a few to go. The red velvet cupcake was stale, so I hope the cookies weren’t because I gave them to friends! I ordered the Tijuana chicken sandwich, and whatever I got wasn’t it. Right away I knew something was off because it was supposed to be spicy, and what I got was incredibly bland. I double checked the menu online when I got home, and what’s listed was definitely not on my plate, nor was anything like it elsewhere on the menu. I’m not really sure what happened back there, but the kitchen did not give me a spicy cajun chicken sandwich with roasted red peppers, spicy jack cheese, caramelized online, lettuce, tomatoes and chipotle aioli.(Sounds delicious, right?) I received unseasoned chicken with provolone, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. I should have given it back, but I was doubting myself. I should have listened to my gut! The broccoli cheddar soup was disappointing. It was served lukewarm, and it wasn’t creamy at all — definitely broth-based(contradicting the menu), and a little oily. I picked out the broccoli(which was actually fresh), and tried to avoid the actual soup. The saving grace of the meal was the pasta salad. Creamy, with enough veggies to be considered salad, and nicely flavored. The coffee menu is written in chalk, and it’s a little difficult to read because there is a lot of info crammed on there. I didn’t have time to sample a coffee, but the offerings looked pretty good. Will I go again? Yes, but not for awhile until they get their feet wet and get some quality control in the kitchen. They seem to have good variety on the menu, they just need someone who can handle it.

I was the first delivery order, special much. Give ‘em a chance to get their feet wet. The bread is fantabulous and so is the cheesecake! actually the cheesecake is so-so. I am just a sucker for cheesecake.
