Golden Living CENTER-RICHMOND

I am greatly disappointed in the lack of communication and compliance received from the Golden Living Center. My family is working hard to relocate our son/​brother/​father/​uncle from the facility. My uncle who has suffered two strokes this year with little ability to speak and care for himself was allowed to move into an independent living facility without consulting with or notifying his niece who is his Power of Attorney. Not even 48 hours post relocation he was rushed to the hospital after being found passed out in his room from high sugar levels. The same reason he was put in the nursing home and result of his strokes. Due to the nursing homes negligence and lack of communication, he could’ve very well passed away as my family never agreed nor believed he was capable of living alone. I would not recommend anyone to trust this center with caring for and protecting their family members.
