Henrico Furniture

I was in Richmond on vacation recently and visited several furniture and other home décor stores while I was there. (I am in the business in Dallas and was interested in how things compared in the east). I wasn’t truly ‘shopping’ for anything, and didn’t spend very long in any one place. That being said, these folks were my favorite. Beautiful furniture in a store that actaully gives you room to walk. There was nothing pretentious about this place, but the quality of the furniture was obvious. The woman who helped me (I think she was the owner) was incredibly nice and helpfful, even afer i let her know she knew that I had no intentions of buying anything. It was obvious that these we just good people that really did like their customers.
Give me a locally-​owned business that sells nice stuff at a nice price and has nice people, and I’ll be a fan. I’m glad Henrico Furniture is in Richmond and not a competitor in Dallas.

Ok, first yes the last review was correct the furniture does take forever, so I would have liked to give them 4.5 stars but it was well worth the wait. I had a very specific bedroom set in mind and although it did take 9 months to get it — the entire set was exactly what I wanted. The first manufacturer (Colonial) did not complete the order and wanted to do the order in pieces, this was unacceptable to both the owners and me but the owners hung in there with me and found another manufacturer who actually custom made pieces the way I wanted them. They were super helpful and patient and went the extra mile. Andrew actually delivered the set himself and they were super careful setting everything up. The If you want cookie cutter fast furniture go someplace else but if you want furniture to last for generations, and have specific taste then Henrico is the place. Really really happy with the bedroom set!

I ordered a custom set of Kincaid bedroom furniture with a lead time of 10 weeks. it should have been six weeks, but since this is now imported rather than being made in American this was acceptable. Now after multiple delays, it looks like it will be 18 weeks. I am so unhappy with Henrico Furniture and Kincaid. I got more furniture to purchase and will not use either again.
