Are you kidding me. Bought a dozen donuts, asked for napkins, gave me 3, asked for more, got 2 more, when I said I needed more, told me «go to supermarket.»

This store has a lot going for it, but sadly that doesn’t extend to the donuts. I had a custard-filled bar, and found it slightly overcooked with barely any custard inside. Add to that, the frosting was thin and cracked off as soon as I bit it. On the plus side, the staff were super friendly, and the place is spacious and clean. My rating is only about the donuts. I might stop back at lunch time to try out the deli side.

This review is only for the donuts… Some of the best donuts in the San Francisco east bay. Pro Tip: Go early and ask for a hot twist from the back. They’re about as big as my head. I can only get half of it down before I tap out.

All chocolate cake donuts are good. Coconut on top is stale. Blueberry donut is BOMB and super moist!

If you want a coffee, I recommend walking across the parking lot to Wendy’s. If you dont heed this advice, expect to pay Starbucks prices for some cheap stuff in a Styrofoam cup. Donuts — about as blah as you can get them. I dont usually give in to a grease/sugar urge so bummed I wasted it here.

Mira Vista Donut doesn’t get the love it deserves for being a dimly lit do-hole in the wall caterting to the lotto trade. though prices are posted, coffee wasn’t easily visible. trade: donuts, coffee, sammies, lotto, ? eats: –french creuller:1.25 nice firm, spiral texture, sizing good –glazed: .95 like melt in mouth doughiness both donuts very sweet 3.5 stars, good value crumbs: –friendly greeting, chitchat –4 stars, murky ambience holds it at 3(less some readers think«what has victor been smoking?» hint: it’s legal in california.

I walked by here on the way to Huong Tra. It was about 6:45pm. I wanted to buy a lotto ticket because hey, how awesome would it be to win big for Christmas? I went in and saw an old lady. I asked to buy a ticket. She looked me and my kid over and said, «How much?» I replied, «One dollar.» She said, «I close.» WTH?! So she didn’t sell me the ticket because she was«closed» — yeah right. After I had dinner, we walked back to our car and guess what? There were a handful of people sitting inside and EATING! Closed my ass!

When driving down North down San Pablo towards I-80, this place is easy to miss on the left side and harder to swing around and park. This is my Donut Time or Happy Donuts(Albany) backup and a good place to get a coffee and doughnut quickly and move on down the road.
