We are in town for the Tough Murder and came to carb up. We had a long work week and coming here completely made the end of a rough week so much better. The food was wonderful and our server Deju was absolutely the best! We are from Chesapeake Beach Maryland and will definitely be back! Thank you!

This location is a nope. The service is good but the food is terrible. Our fondue appetizer was full of oil. The fettuccine Alfredo tasted super bland. Other Olive Gardens have much better food. I wouldn’t go here again. I’d say the inside could also use some renovations as well.

Great job accommodating 20+ group. Good food and great service. Thanks to our server Lorenza who was awesome. We will come back next time we are in town!

Our waiter was extremely professional and helpful. We ordered the sampler appetizer and we were disappointed, not sure if everything is deep fried or microwaved but whichever it is, it was over done. Same thing with pasta dishes hardly any sauce, over done. The restaurant could use a little cleaning.

I’ve been to many olive garden restaurants in numerous states but I will have to say that this location(short pump) takes the crown home for being the worst! I had ordered cheese ravioli with marinara sauce and they brought me ravioli with meat sauce. I didn’t even realize it and started eating but soon stopped myself and notified the server immediately. The server not once apologized and told me that she would replace my entrée with the one I ordered but it would take some time as they were very busy(as always). She seemed to be in rush ever since we were seated as she didn’t even have the courtesy to introduce herself. I sat there munching on the free breadsticks waiting for my food and in about 20 minutes or so the manager came in and apologized. I told him I was a vegetarian and I was accidentally given the ravioli with meat sauce. He said he would make sure that this doesn’t happen in the future and left. I waited another 20 minutes or so for my meatless ravioli to arrive. I saw our server walking by and waved her over to the table. I could tell she was purposely ignoring us. I asked her where my food was as it had been a while and she said she didn’t even know that I had put an order in for another meal. She thought I had lost my appetite and was just waiting for my friend to be done. After another 10 minutes she brought the dish in didn’t even ask me if I wanted to sprinkle some cheese on top as they usually do at other locations. At that point, I honestly had lost my appetite but surprisingly not my cool. I was extremely polite and took the whole situation very well despite of being 8 months pregnant and eating meat for the very first time in life! That being said, that was and will be the last visit to olive garden! Here’s to carrabbas!

Celebrating a friends birthday and decided on OG. They seated us right away-no wait. Thats always a great start. The server, Rod was good, he was very personable and chatted with us for a few minutes. he kept the table clean, drinks filled and a smile on his face. He came by just enough to keep us happy without interrupting our conversation. The food: the house salad and breadsticks are always on point. I tried to go without the white alfredo sauce. but ended up giving in. its so good with the breadsticks. it just goes together like peanut butter and jelly to me. Cant have one without the other. My entrée was the herb smoked salmon with steamed broccoli. I liked it but it was really lacking some seasoning. I was disapointed because I really hoped it would be as flavorful as it looked. The broccoli was cooked perfect and thanks to the alfredo sauce and black pepper I was able to help both dishes along. Our server did ask how the food was, and I shared my feelings. He was apologetic but I told him no worries, I would just work with it and doctor it up, and I did. This visit was just okay today. Not good, not bad. Maybe next time Olive Garden.

Service was ridiculously bad and they could not deal with our large party or handle the separate checks. There were several things we ordered that never came. The greeter at the front desk seemed very hassled by the fact that we had 12 people.

We dined here tonight as a family of four and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. Kids enjoyed their meals, though it would have been nice if our waitress was more knowledge about additional side options. Food was quick and delicious. I ordered the sausage stuffed rigatoni and will order again

We dined here the other night and it was a decent experience. The food was reasonable for the price. I ordered the steak Gorgonzola Alfredo cooked medium. It was way over cooked and greasy. My husband ordered the sausage stuffed rigatoni and was very pleased. Our waitress also didn’t know about side items for the kids which was a little frustrating. Also, the table next to us was served a cake because they were celebrating a birthday. They were unable to cut through it because it was still frozen solid. We will definitely be back to give it another try. I can’t resist the salad and breadsticks.

I recently visited this particular Olive Garden with my club field hockey team and their parents. We had a party of 35. This review is mostly about the quality of service they supplied to us here. They accommodated our group, had excellent servers, and not one person had any complaints, or any errors in their orders. They were able to handle multiple checks, spread across 3 different tables, and a rowdy little bunch. On top of that the food was delicious and even with such a large group, the meals came out in a steady, normal, time frame. Highly recommend for any larger groups visiting the area. A note though, I did go in a few hours prior to, to talk to them about a reservation for such a large group, which I think helped aid in the excellent service.

Unlimited soup and salad was horrible today. First bowl of soup took 20 minutes to get to my table and was half and inch deep and lukewarm. Each bowl after was watered down and took 20 minutes between bowls. 90 minutes for a quick lunch, is not what I consider quick.

This restaurant is the go to spot if you want a hardy and fulfilling Italian meal for a reasonable price. Food — My friend and I did did the 2 for $ 25 deal and she got the shrimp mezzaluna and I got the chicken alfredo with the tiramisu dessert. The chicken alfredo was decent, nothing extraordinary about it — an expected flavor, nothing less and nothing more. But it will leave you full. The shrimp mezzaluna was the better dish out of the 2 was it was something that left my mouth watering for more. The tiramisu was also average — maybe because I was craving something sweet, it tasted wayyyy better when I had the 1st bite but after that it was whatever. On the plus side, unlimited bread sticks and salad! Service — Our waitress was really nice and attentive. She refilled our water numerous times and was very patient with my party when it came to getting our checks because we were one needy group when it comes to splitting checks and all that. She was also very patient with us when putting cheese onto our dishes and salad. Price — I got the 2 for $ 25 deal which includes a dessert and I believe it was worth it. Overall, if I am trying to have a meal that would fill me up at a low price then Olive Garden is the place to go. Though their dishes aren’t nothing to be screaming about.

Despite being on Broad Street this location seems to not ever be really busy. Came here with my co-workers for a celebration lunch and had a very lovely time. Our server Toni was very friendly, fun and attentive of our party of 8. The salad and appetizers came out quickly and everyone’s order was accurate. Though I behaved myself and only got soup and salad I enjoyed my meal and everyone’s orders were correct. I did indulge and had 1 bread-stick. I couldn’t help it, they were hot and garlicky. I just can’t pass on fresh hot bread.

Olive Garden, like many of the big-box places, is about getting large volumes of decent food at reasonable prices, and they definitely delivered that here. Upon entering, my lady friend and I were warmly greeted and taken to our table(one of the tables in the«overflow» rooms, though it was busy, so that’s understandable). I had been drawn to Olive Garden this particular evening since they were doing a great $ 9.99 deal with soup/entrée/dessert and wanted to take full advantage of it(which my friend and I did). The server didn’t seem to know what a «seasonal variety» of sauce was or what specifically it might be, and she in general struggled through taking our order, though in fairness it did come out right(after she came back to have my friend pick a different pasta since they ran out of the penne). The server did make frequent callbacks to her credit, though the other mistakes she made betrayed her newness. Hopefully her positive attitude will carry her until she finds her rhythm working here. The food was average and nothing to rave about, though it was filling, and what quality can one expect for $ 10? When I’m feeling cheap(aka always) and in the mood for LOTS of Italian food, this is where I come to. Long may the big-box places reign. Overall: 3.0 stars — — — — — Pros: — $ 10 for soup, breadsticks, entrée, and dessert? Count me in! — Did I mention breadsticks? Because they’re infinite salty goodness. — Music made for a nice ambiance, and it was fun to hear«Mr. Brightside» done in a Sinatra-esque way. Looking for the recording on the ‘net now! Cons: — Service was lacking, though this is to be expected from new staff members. — Food pales in comparison to other Italian restaurants, though you will leave full. — Inventory management is key to a good restaurant, and running out of a bunch of things(pastas, carryout bags, etc.) really has a way of making a place look bad.

Food was good. Service was good. No wait!(We did go early~ 5:45) If you get the beef with bleu cheese and alfredo, don’t forget that’s enough food for about 3 meals. Divide and eat some and save the rest for later. Also– the amaretto tiramisu was superb! Better than I was expecting it to be. And it was the perfect tiny size. Salad and breadsticks were good– made just about perfectly. Will probably be back.

YukYukYuk, I was a fan of olive garden until eating at this one. First of all we did have a awesome server I can’t remember here name and I thought of giving 2 stars because of her but i can’t do it. So I start with the salad and breadsticks. Salad had lettuce that was turning brown and breadsticks were hard as a rock. I had the chicken alfredo. The worst alfredo ever. cold, salty, white water is what it was like. The server corrected everything on the check and was happy about that. The worst parrt is the day of sitting on the toilet after leaving here. Would maybe try another Olive Garden but never this one again.

There are many reasons why I opt to choose a smaller venue/specialty restaurant over Chain restaurants and on my most recent Visit to Olive Garden it solidified those reasons… I used to love going to Olive Garden several years back when I enjoyed my daily sodium intake in one entrée and my indulging in 2000 Calorie plus food per dish. Now, it all seems so unappealing and not very tasty at all. On my most recent visit for my friends Birthday dinner, we spent almost THREE hours at this particular location, and for about 45 mins to an hour was unnecessary and or avoidable if the service was better… We had reservations for 7.15 and there was no issue there, we were seated promptly, but it all went down hill after that. it took TWO of our waiters at least 10 mins to take our drink orders and additional 20 minutes for them to take our dinner order. Granted we did have a couple people who still needed to join our party but they never asked us to take our order… After they took our orders, it was another 10 to 15 mins before we actually got bread sticks/salad. It’s about 40 mins later after we get seated before we actually saw food on our table… Service was extremely slow, especially for a table that had two waiters. They seemed more concerned about filling our cups of water then pushing our entrees out. We had a table of about 12 or so and it took about 30 minutes for our entrees to come out. maybe I’m expecting too much, but I didn’t want to fill up on salad/bread before my actual meal. in retrospect, I should have! I got the Spicy Shrimp Vesuvio or something like that… it was spaghetti with very small shrimp covered in a bland tomato based sauce with spinach, and peppers. The noodles were cooked al dented but lacked any seasoning and was very bland. There was absolutely no flavor and it was EXTREMELY spicy. I can handle a medium at most Indian/Thai restaurants and I didn’t think«italian» food could be that spicy but it was almost to the point where i couldn’t even eat it. The spicyness was probably the only seasoning the entire dish had. The whole ordeal wasn’t over though, getting our checks and actually paying for our meal took an additional 30 minutes. sigh. Service is slow and the food is just lackluster. The only part I enjoyed were the bread sticks and the croutons from the salad. I’m glad I was in good company b/c that made the time past by fast. I am definitely not coming back for sure, sorry Olive Garden, you need to up your standards and consider your customers needs and expectations.

Visited this location to celebrate a birthday over the weekend. Went on Sunday and it was really crowded. A good amount of people at the bar, and the dining room was almost full. There was a 15 minute wait and most of the waiting area was filled as well. Grabbed a drink at the bar and waited for our little buzzer to go off. The beeping sound startled me, I’m used to them just vibrating/lighting up. Regardless, the 15 minute wait was a pretty accurate estimate. We were seated and drinks and bread sticks were brought out quickly. I’m not sure how long the bread sticks were sitting out: they didn’t taste old, but I knew they weren’t super fresh. Munched on them while we decided on entrees. Love the unlimited soup and salad. The chicken and gnocchi soup was good and hearty, though it only had tiny pieces of chicken and one gnocchi. Honestly I couldn’t eat more than a bowl, maybe two, without completely filling myself up. Ordered the salmon, chicken parm, and chicken alfredo. Salmon was«flavored just right» and chicken parm was finished off. The chicken alfredo was good, too. Creamy and the chicken was actually the best part. Got a piece of the raspberry cheesecake, but it had just been taken out of the freezer. So after a few bites, we just wrapped it up and took it home. Server was nice and was sure to keep our drinks refilled. Overall, your standard Olive Garden.

I have been to this particular location quite a few times– but this review is based soley on my last dinner there. I will say compared to the other times I have been to this particular location, this time was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and kind to my entire group of friends and was very open to answering questions on different menu items– without looking frustrated — as some waitstaff can get. We recieved our bread/salad quickly along with our drinks and everything was super fresh. Everyone’s dinner arrived at the same time– without any real hiccups or temperature differences in our meals. Everyone had a great time and even enjoyed a bit of their delicious tiramasu afterward. Considering the service at this particular location has been quite lackluster in the past– I believe they have stepped up their game. Maybe it was due to a more experienced staff member, or lower amount of customers actually in the place that night. Regardless of what was going on, my table and I were thrilled to have a cozy spot to laugh and talk while enjoying a great meal– something usually shared at one our favorite spots in the fan/vcu area.
