Weinstein JCC

The JCC is an amazing place. My daughter loves the after school care and I love the gym. Staff are friendly. It is a beautiful place.

The Weinstein JCC hosted the 2015 Richmond Jewish Food Festival, which luckily I was in town for. This review is only about the facility, not the event.
The Community Center is located on Monument Drive and is very well marked, this was especially nice because I had no idea where I was going. The outside grounds were very well taken care of.
There is an ample parking lot for regular day to day activities however the parking lot had one way in, and one way out. This large event seemed to create a bit of a traffic jam when trying to park — and trying to leave. To avoid this, park down the residential street directly across from the community center.

The inside of the center was immaculately clean, even with a few thousand hungry food lovers traipsing through with wet shoes. They had turned the theater into a dining room but it was still very clear that this would have been a great environment for movies, plays and concerts — complete with stage, sound and Broadway lights. The hallways were very open and wide enough to support multiple vendors and still provide room to walk around.
This location also has a gym, pool, daycare and other YMCA like amenities.
PS… if you ever get a chance to make it out to the Jewish Food Festival, I highly recommend stopping by. Great event with a lot of different foods to try. The corned beef and latkes were amazing!

Cleanest friendliest gym in the west end.
They have good options for weights and a good number of aerobic classes.
Lap pool and family pool indoors.
Sauna steam room and basketball court.
Least crowded gym I have ever been in.

My favorite place!!! The staff is lovely and the facilities are beautiful, no waiting, no meat heads, no attitudes, soooooo sweet and special, same price as everywhere else!!!
