Love this shop! Always a wonderful shopping experience. When you first walk in the door you are immediately taken to another place with the wonderful scents and ambiance(you almost forget you are in the desert). The perfect place to find that unique gift or to pamper yourself. The store is always stocked with wonderful teas, chocolate, luxurious clothing, soaps, oils, jewelry, and more. The store has an environmentally conscious theme so a lot of the items you will find are either organic or produced on a small scale by skilled artisans. They do a great job adding new inventory each season so check back often!

Seems small and cozy. This place smells and looks wonderful! There seems to be a downside. When I walked in there a second time, it seemed as if there were a repetition of the same products throughout the store. It seems as if it were the same style or design. I wish there were more interesting clothing options. I hope to see something more interesting in this shop, other than something the same…

I am a small food business owner in Maine. My husband and I sold product to Sandra at Botany’s Desire in February of 2013 and we were never paid. Our attempts to get in touch with anyone at the store have been dodged– for over a year. It’s shameful that a fellow small business owner would treat another company in this way. I support small, local businesses and I believe in showing that support with my wallet. It’s sad that this woman has not supported other businesses in kind. I also know that if she stiffed us, she has stiffed others. I just wanted the public to be aware of Botany’s Desire’s business practices. I am beyond hope of receiving payment from this store.

I’m constantly baffled how a shope like this stays in business in Ridgecrest. Super high quality and unique gifts, candles, speciality food items, etc. I even bought my bed sheets here(although they took a few months to arrive) and they are awesome! Lately, there have been a lot of really cute clothes in stock. Definitely worth checking out this store if you live in Ridgecrest or even if you are just passing through. It’s a Los Angeles quality store residing in a desert town.
