Home Depot strikes again! 4 employees walked by me while I am trying to load multiple sheets of Sheetrock into my truck and no one tries to help, including Carlos, who is probably texting on his phone again. No service here!!! :(why do I keep coming back. On the flip side, thanks to Cardinal plumbing and one of there very professional employees who saw me struggling and helped me out. THANKS! I personally called your boss and told them what a great employee they have.

30 minutes till closing, my hubs and I rushed in and over to the portable a/c section. While we were deciding which unit to get, we stopped over in another part of the store and had a great store employee help us find what we needed. Once we decided on a a/c unit, my hubs went to grab a flat cart and a cashier asked us if we needed help. Since I didn’t know how heavy the unit was, I happily accepted the help. I didn’t catch any of their names, but we definitely couldn’t have gotten any better service than we did tonight. The store itself was pretty well kept together, stocked and a perfect place to cool down from the hot heat. We’ve been here several times before to buy small plants and will continue to since our plants tend to die pretty quickly :/ Overall, our experience has been pretty good but tonight was exceptional. Kudos to the HD’s employees who take the time to help those, like myself with a deer in headlights look on the face.

I have had no problem with my in-store experiences, but their installation services are terrible. They always send a middle man out to your house that is out to jack up the price by thousands of dollars. I ordered doors in May of 2014. The middle man came out and took measurements, we did up the contract and I was told I would have doors approximately 7 to 8 weeks later. Well, that was true. The installation guys showed up 8 weeks later but when they brought the doors up to the house, they were 4 inches too wide. They said there were options, but they would have to cut into my house to do it. I considered letting them, but ultimately their supervisor said that extra work wasn’t in the contract and they left with the doors. I waited two weeks and nobody ever called. I called HD installation services and asked them what was going on. The middle man ended up having to re-order the doors which meant I would have to wait another 8 weeks. Another 8 weeks go by and nobody calls. I call again. I was told the doors got shipped to a warehouse somewhere in southern, Ca. A few days later, an installation guy from the company that was contacted by Home Depot called me. He said he needed to go to the warehouse to inspect the doors before bringing them to my house. I wait two weeks, and nothing happens. I call the installation service again. Two days later, they tell me they cannot locate the doors in the SoCal warehouse and it appeared they had been shipped to somewhere in Conneticut. A few more weeks go by and they tell me they cannot find the doors and offered to have them re-made but with a rush on them this time. It ended up being an 8 month process and I still have no doors on my house. Cancelled the order and decided to take my money elsewhere. Very poor customer service. If I had not made phone call after phone call, I would still be waiting on doors. Oh wait. I am. I don’t understand why HD doesn’t use in-town contractors for their installation services.

Home depot in like a toy store for men. They usually have what I need at a decent price it just takes a little looking around. I don’t really like the self checkout lines but they work. Overall a good place to shop for what you need.

I am so sick of this place but it is nearly the only viable option in this town! I sent my spouse there for a lag anchor in dry wall and she got help, not much, as she returned with a lag shield for concrete! What a joke! Additionally, she was looking for a brad finish gun and they showed 2 on their inventory yet the sales person couldn’t find a single one! Wow. This is the sacrifice we have to make. Employees poorly trained and lazy, to say the least.

This store is very clean and we have always found what we were looking for, if not it is always easy to find help. There are 2 employees at this store who have really gone out of their way to be very helpful and nice to my husband and myself. There names are Josh and Heather. Sorry I don’t know their last names, but both employees deserve to be recognized :)

Overpriced JUNK! Try finding a salesperson to help you is impossible. If you buy anything needing a power source it WILL break in 6 months or less no matter how gentle you are but having to be gentle with hardware items is laughable really. Moving on to the garden area… Plants die quickly the potting soil will KILL any plants you put the dirt on. My gorgeous spider plants of 20 years DEAD! Thanks to Home Fin’ Depot and when I called them I was told«there’s nothing we can do call the manufacturer“WTF!!! Even my 5 foot Philodendron died and those are difficult to kill unless you go to HD then death comes quick & easy. I pray a Lowes goes in right across from HD and puts them out of business. Just hope they don’t hire the lazy employees from HD. Store is a waste of space except to outsiders it only appears Ridgecrest has premium shopping when in FACT it’s a big fat LIE!

This Home Depot is on the small side, as it is in a town of under 30k people and 2 hours away from any other town. It does have a lumber department, though, and my husband has been able to find some excellent deals on otherwise large, expensive pieces of lumber that were part of a botched order or past their prime. The garden section here is the best place to find trees and plants for landscaping or interior decorating. There are a few other options in town but I think this place has the best quality selection and relative prices. As with any business in Ridgecrest, staffing is tough due to the small pool of potential employees. There are a few on staff here who know their stuff and are always helpful, and we know to go to them with any assitance. I’ve not bought any large appliances here, so I can’t speak to that personally, but I have heard from friends that there are great sales during the Holidays if you know what you want.

Not a bad place. Had exactly the cable I was looking for and at a fair price. Definitely made my ride home more bearable!

The store is clean and filled with all kinds of fun toys but the employees obviously don’t like working there and for the most part are completely useless. I bought over $ 2000 worth of appliances there and you would think I was buying a garden hose with the way they handled it. It’s been a pretty big hassle but there are not a lof of options in this town so you gotta take what you can get, I guess.

For whatever reason, we come here often. The folks are always helpful and the place is pretty organized. It’s a fairly large store and they have a whole section in the back for glass. Also — they have massive amounts of fixtures available and they may be able to order what they don’t have. Check them out during the holidays — they have Christmas trees!

I am really thankful to have a large store like this in town. The customer service has always been great and any returns/exchanges I have done have been trouble free. I recently ordered a washer and dryer and was impressed when the delivery guys pointed out damage to the dryer that I didn’t see, they took it back with them and I already have a scheduled delivery of the new one.

The most horrific customer service I have ever experienced. Too long of a story(debacle) to go into detail. Unfortunately there is no other option to shop at in this town, otherwise I would not ever spend another dime in this place.
