The food is pretty good for Ridgecrest. I enjoy the bento boxes, as it’s the best bang for your buck. The sushi is decent… again for Ridgecrest. They also have a large menu, though sometimes I think that is their downfall. What do I mean by this? It’s the old saying, «jack of all trades, master of none.» If they have a smaller menu, then they can specialize more and make them a lot more tasty. Instead, a lot of the dishes are run-of-the-mill in terms of taste.

Absolutely delish. Came here with some family and friends and enjoyed every last grain of rice. Our gorgeous waitress, Candace, went above and beyond to make our experience superb! Would I go back, yes. Ask for Canadace when you visit this fabulous establishment! :)

Found a gem in travelling through. Great selection, large portions. Very tasty and the drink specials were good too! We’ll be back!

That sushi was decent, my wife and i ordered BEEF pad Thai and they bring me this odd dish with chicken and some red sauce on it. Took a bite didnt take any thing like what i ordered, i asked the waitress and she told me it was beef pad thai. Much Disappoint

Tracie, the bartender is amazing. She remembers her customers, their drinks, etc. and always serves with a smile. The food is good too, however, Friday nights on the patio are not too great. We had a waitress that was not only very flustered, she never smiled or followed through with orders. Again, the food was good but getting it was another story. While we enjoyed the music it would have been so much more pleasant to have a waitress that at least took interest in our table. Twice we went and got our own drinks and had to ask over and over for water and Pepsi. We will go again but probably never on Friday night

Good food, terrible fortunes. Honestly the fortunes aren’t even fortunes, they’re generalized statements.

Perviously this restaurant was named Red Bowl. The best time to come in would be lunch, they are not as busy during that time. They have half off appetizers and drinks during happy hour from 5 – 7. I love getting the veggie ramen, it’s a good bargin, under $ 7. If you do order it ask for a side of chilli oil and chilli garlic sauce, to add some heat. The bento box is a god way to get a variety of items off of the menu, it’s around $ 10 per order. Everything can be easily customized to dietary needs, like no oil, no MSG, no meat, .etc. While the food is pretty good, I’ve had several occasions where my food was greasy and not cooked right. I ordered a veggie tofu stir-fry with my bento and there was pools of oil in my box, unapatizing. There was also a time that I ordered a spring roll that was oily, they must not have waited until the fryer reached the suitable temperature, I did come in when they opened, but I wouldn’t have minded waiting a little longer for a better spring roll. The décor is confusing, it has hints of Italian in the carpeting walls, and seating. The service is excellent, they have always been helpful and attentive.

I gave this place 3 Stars. Myself and my family eat here like once a month. It’s okay quality sushi. Nothing fancy but a good find considering the town. If you come on any night, service is pretty lousy.

So happy to find this place! Many rolls without rice, which helps me out alot. Kids meals have great options. Very reasonable prices and serving size is generous!

Our favorite place for lunch. Lunch prices are very affordable, the portions just right. We have a family member who is a diabetic, and they order the steamed shrimp and vegetables with brown rice. Pleasant atmosphere, comfortable seating, friendly staff. Their gift certificates along with a carry out menu make great thank you gifts.

Ordered from here a to go lunch. I ordered beef lo mein and my friend ordered teriyaki chicken with tempura. My container was very full, very warm, and very good. It made 3 meals. My friend said her chicken was very good, tempura shrimp was too. You get 2 tempura shrimp and some tempura vegetables. I used to always get Golden Dragon, but their quality has really gone downhill. China Express is ok, but no lunch specials. Quality and value for your money goes to Xin Bowl.

This was our first time here and we were pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Having two littles ones, fast service is a must when we go out. Very pleased with our waitress. She was extremely nice and attendant. This restaurant will definitely stay our list of go to places.

This is also a review for what used to be «Red Bowl Asian Bistro» since it looks like they just changed their name to Xin Bowl. I have been here twice and both experience were good. The first, I came in for lunch and sat down at the bar. Ordered the Bento lunch menu and it came pretty fast. I also liked the fact that you can customize what comes in the box. You can choose what kind of salad, roll, or rice you want. The second one, was a to-go order. Called to pre-order and left as soon as I hung up. When I got there, the order was ready for pick-up. Really quick. As far as the service, it is average. I didn’t wait too long to get my water refilled or my order taken. Although the hostesses were just talking and they can obviously tell I needed something, they didn’t bother to ask and just went on to their chat. Luckily the guy server came right on time.

Really good! Cocktails(plus beer and wine), sushi, noodle bowls, Thai dishes and more. Their sushi chefs are the real deal. Gyoza, cucumber noodle salad(actually just cucumbers cut into noodles with ginger dressing!) Jessica roll, salmon lovers roll, were all really good! And bartender knows how to make a good dry gin martini, just what you need after a trip to la la land.
