Well of course I would rather be in Brooklyn at Nathan’s, but when the craving comes and your are on the Jersey Turnpike headed to Nueva York it’s time to stop at the Vince lLombardi Travel Plaza. Hot dog nuggets and a soda works just fine to retune your senses for the rest of the drive home

They need to fire Marie. I dont know her last name but she was horrible. She took my order and left leaving me waiting over 10 mins for my meal. If I hadn’t questioned where my meal was I would have been waiting forever. If I could give 0 stars I totally would. The next register however was nice and started my order and I got my order within 5 mins. You shouldn’t have to wait for over 15 mins to get food at a fast food place.

Got a hot dog here, it was good, but very pricey. I mainly wanted to get something quick and the place was packed, so I chose to get a quick hot dog and get back into the car.

Probably the safest thing to eat at this travel Plaza. Also expensive it’s still a real Nathan hot dog.

Hey, if you don’t have a Dog House, then this place will do.

Great New York City type hot dogs in New Jersey? You bet! And you can see the city from here. Housed in one of the famous N.J.Turnpike Service Areas(this one named after Vince Lombardi) this Nathan’s was nothing special, other than the dogs. It is a food court type place with bathrooms. A godsend if you are out of gas, hungry or have to go to the bathroom before crossing the George Washington Bridge into the city. What a wonderful dog. Crisp snap of the skin, great beef taste and the simple bun with mustard and onions. Yum!
