one star for them is too much. As already somebody said, they don’t know how to talk to customer. Unkind, very rude, impatient.

I use these guys all the time, for many years. For glass, mirrors on my work vans, keys and lock cylinders, etc… Richard is the best, knows his locks.

I was told they would be at my house at 8 am to take down and re-​glue large mirrors on my wall. They arrived on time finished in timely manor and very neat.

I needed a piece of glass for a serving tray… when he told me how much it would cost, it cost more than the serving tray itself!!! I ended up going to this small business on woodward and gates to get the glass I needed and pretty cheap too.
The other reason I gave them 1 stars is because of their customer service. It started well but then took a bad turn. There were these marks on my serving tray so the guy told me to go to this hardware store on gates. I tried to clarify asking «the one here on freshpond?» He then gave me an attitude saying, «NO, the one on gates that’s been there for 114 years!» Alright so I remember him saying 100 but I don’t remember exactly how old it was as I was in shock that he would be talking to his customers like this. I was about to say «I’ve only been living in this neighborhood for 3 years now! How would I know what hardware store you’re talking about?!» …but I didn’t want to cause problems since this guy clearly doesn’t care how he talks to people. Needless to say this place will never get my business.
I also saw some of their prices for the locks and I’ve seen the same locks at other locksmiths for a lot cheaper!

Recommended. Richie showed up when scheduled and followed up with a phone call for a price he promised to get me. Very nice as well. Would use them again.

Richie at Major Lock & Glass installed two deadbolts for our business. He was super fantastic and I recommend him to everyone I know.
