Union Field Cemetery of Congregation Rodeph Sholom

I am not sure what cemetery the reviewer below went to, because I have had the exact opposite experience here. Unfortunately, I doubt this post will help too many people, because it doesn’t seem like too many people would research a cemetery on Unilocal before buying a plot.
I have family buried here, so Its unfortunate I have to write this review; however, this cemetery is constantly unkept. The grass is often growing wild, and there have even been several times where I’ve seen headstones turned over and trees up rooted This damage may have been a storm, but it will often sit this way for months and months. All of this in what is supposed to be a «Perpetual Care» cemetery… not so much!
Hopefully this information can help someone in the future!

It feels odd rating a cemetery. However, this cemetery is very well maintained and has quite a few stately mausoleums in various architectural styles in addition to many many other burial sites. It is peaceful, quiet, and has many large, beautiful specimen trees dispersed through the site.
If you visit on a warm day in summer and walk silently and respectfully you will see and hear wildlife everywhere, In addition to the usual squirrels, birds and the occasional rabbit, you may see Italian wall lizards sunning themselves before they skitter away into the undergrowth.
