My server was very sweet, however, the food was not very good and way over priced. I had the seafood pasta and the seafood fishy smell was overwhelming. The fried green tomatoes were pretty tasteless, adding some salt helped. Their menu is all over the map, perhaps they should narrow their scope to what they are really good at. Unfortunately, I think this restaurant will be short lived. I won’t be going back.

Cute place in Rincon, cream crab stew was tasty, as was shrimp and other items. Prepared right for our tastes.

Don’t eat seafood but there chicken Alfredo and Buffalo chicken sandwich taste amazing. Been going since they opened the chicken Alfredo has shrunk a little in size it used to make 2 large meals for me now it only make 1 meal I almost can’t finish. I hate that they charge a ToGo fee for«each» box. I’m actually saving them money by getting it to go, you don’t have to clean a table, you don’t have to pay someone to wash my dishes, you don’t have to have a waitress or hostess for me, and you have more room for someone else these things should justify not charging a Togo fee per item.

Food was good, ordered the shrimp&shirts and a side of hush puppies. Hush puppies were oddly shaped but delicious. Ordered a water and Diet Coke and ended up drinking lots of Diet Coke as he water had a funky taste which I could also taste in the entrée. Besides that small issue, the shrimp were large and delicious and the cream sauce on the grits was very flavorful as well. Overall satisfied and would recommend, just wish they would fix their water issue.

I ordered my food at 1:30PM and got there around 2 and they forgot to put my order in. The Bar Tender lied and told me that my order was already put in but the manager came behind her and apologized because the order was lost. The Bar Tender needs to be suspended for lying to customers. I used like this place until then. It’s amazing how one bad experience can ruin a lifetime of vistis.

Stopped here yesterday for the first time for lunch. I had the lunch special of Shrimp and Grits and a small Peach cobbler. The dessert offering was Chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. I told the waitress I am allergic to peanut butter and she substituted the cobbler for me. Score 1 right there. Then the grits came out. They were creamy, dreamy, cheesy grits with sweet shrimp. Great size bowl for lunch. Now the cobbler was small but this was lunch and it was the perfect size. My waitress was great, the food was perfect and I will be bringing the family here for dinner.

Hearing some good things of the Tin Fin, my party of 3 gave it a try. The casual experience was paired with a well staffed and attentive. My sense was that the quality service was a focus of the management. We had the shrimp n grits with crab cakes. De Facto chicken fingers for our kid. The crab cake appetizer was excellent. The lack of the standard breaded up crab cake, usually heavy on the breading, was a treat as lumps of seasoned crab is served. The shrimp n grits hit the spot, as it was seasoned well and not over/under cheese’d. It was a hit at the table. Pricing was on the mark and I thought very good for the«from scratch» quality. Always a nice touch having the floor manager stop by at the end. End to end our expectations were exceeded. I think setting the bar higher for Rincon.

We have been several times and service and quality are consistently great. Every time I go, I try something different and always walk away happy and look forward to going again.

I have been to the tin fin twice, the first time was with my dad. We started off with bacon wrapped scallops, they were fine. Something we could easily make at home. Then for my meal I ordered the crab cake sandwich, it was very good. However, the crab cake was really small for it to be a sandwich. I enjoyed the taste but I probably wouldn’t order it again because of price and portion size. The second time I went to the tin fin I got a chicken finger plate with spuds to go. It was all good. Nothing to complain about at all. Over all the taste of the food won’t disappoint. But think some of the things on their menu are over priced.

I’ve been to this restaurant 4 times now and have really enjoyed exploring their menu. I’ve never ordered the same thing twice and I’m impressed, and not just for the area. The ribeye steak is great, especially for a seafood restaurant. The fish and shrimp plates are wonderful and they should be. The signature drinks are refreshing and strong. They don’t have much of a dessert menu yet, but I’ve been told it’s coming. This is a new restaurant and as a foodie, I’m very impressed.

First time in restaurant. Everyone was very friendly. Austin was our waiter and was beyond great. The food was amazing the ribeye was cooked to my order perfectly. The crab cakes were phenomenal. The calamari was great and the sauce for it was outstanding. The prices were decent and well worth it. Definitely recommend it. We finally have a real and great seafood restaurant here locally!

Too expensive for mediocre food. I’ve been there quite a few times hoping it would magically get better, but I can’t say anything I’ve had here was particularly good. I won’t be going back.

Nice little place with good food. Our wait time was about 10 minutes for a table. The waitress was super friendly. We even had a chat about childhood meals and family around the table. Just warmed my Heart to the Ultimate. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits. The Grits were smooth, creamy and lip smacking. The Shrimp delicate and sweet. In fact the Grits reminded me of the way my Mom made them. I could tell these were the kind you have to stand over and keep stirring. I closed my eyes eating them and thought«Go Slow, Make It Last» My Husband had grilled Tuna, Fries and Hush Puppies. He immediately said these Hush Puppies are fantastic. Plus liked his Tuna and wanted more. Friday Night Dinner: Two Thumbs Up

This is Rincon Georgia’s best restaurant by far. The décor is on point and the food was amazing. I really appreciated the friendly service and fresh ingredients. We were a party of three and they were able to seat us immediately. The Shrimp and Grits are some of the best I have ever had. The crab cakes were made with lump crab meat and seasoned perfectly. They have a generous selection of side dishes that all looked tempting. It’s hard to go wrong here for less than $ 20.00 per person.

Enjoyed the atmosphere, the service was very good(thank you CJ!), and the food was good. My wife ordered the fried chicken, and one piece wasn’t quite cooked completely — they were kind enough to comp us that meal. I had the scallops — very good, but my 2 hush puppies weren’t much bigger than a marble shooter, while others at the table had hush puppies larger than golf balls. My son had the fried flounder — very good. They do seafood well, but the other items were lacking — my wife’s green beans tasted fishy and the undercooked chicken. I found the value(price compared to quality of food) to be a bit low — the prices seemed a bit high for what you actually get.

Pretty good service, especially for the area. I didn’t think the Seared tuna appetizer was worth the price however. The bacon wrapped scallops were also underwhelming. I don’t recommend any appetizers. Waitress forgot to offer the fresh fishes of the day which was disappointing when I heard the next tables offer. I ordered the mushroom skewers which were good and they gave them at no additional charge since they forgot to mention the $ 2 up charge. The crab legs were very good and so was the green beans and Cesar salad. I would come back again and order better.

I travel all over the U.S. and Canada for work and visit a lot of great restaurants, but this has to be one of the best. They have exceptional service and even better food. I will definitely be coming back.

Fine dining in Rincon at an affordable price! As a 20+ year manager of a restaurant, the dining options in Rincon have been pretty awful, but I’m happy to say that in addition to the Schnitzel Shack, we have another great restaurant that could compete with the fine dining of downtown Savannah. Great food, great service. Yay!
