MHM Urgent Care River Ridge

I had a really great experience at this facility. Quick, quick service with good, attentive care. Dr. Carina Burns is fabulous! This company offers a discount card that makes healthcare more affordable for people with HUGE deductibles. I signed up today and already saved. You might want to consider using this facility for your Urgent Care needs.

I went to Urgent Care in River Ridge on 7−4−14. They told me that the initial visit was $ 125.00, but if I bought this card and paid $ 15.00 a month it would save me money. I was not interested. My reason for going was a sore throat, and I was running fever. When I went into the examination room, a nurse took all of my vitals and asked why I was there. Finally the Dr. Susan Vaught came into the room looked in my throat, and ears and told me that she thought it was strep. Took a test ($ 19.00 more) after a few minutes the nurse came in again and said it is not strep you are free to go. I was shocked that the Dr. did not come back in. I asked the nurse what can you do to make me feel better? She obviously did not know and said I will ask the Dr. The Dr. said there is nothing I can do. She said just gargle with salt water. If you figure it out it cost me $ 28.80/per minute to see the Dr. who could do nothing. I left feeling as bad as when I came in and $ 144.00 less in my wallet. What a rip off. At least the Dr. could have come back in the room, and do something to make me feel better. Instead she took the money and I never saw her again. I will never go back even though it is only a few blocks from my home.
