I have to admit that it has been years since I’ve attended this event, but this year will be my last. With few exceptions the vendors and volunteers at this event we’re just plain rude. And there were entirely too many visitors who should have left their bad tempers and bad attitudes at home.
We purchased our tasting tickets in advance but still had to wait in a long line in the hot sun to get in (a better screening process is sorely needed).

I attended 2014’s Wine and Cheese expo on Saturday from Noon to 2pm. It was an absolutely a waste of time. The tastings were sold out, and other than that there was nothing to do. This years expo didn’t bring anything new. At least in years past someone could have a few beers and enjoy some cover band. Although I saw a few stages set up nobody was playing and there were no seats or tables in front of them. The expo has been slipping for years. No wonder attendance is declining every year. Maybe they should call it quits.

Went yesterday. Waste of money! Had to wait in line 30 minutes just to get in. Once at the entrance it was so crowded, one person was putting wrist bands on and let’s be honest with hundreds of people trying to get in you need more then one person! Once in the festive it was so packed and such a small area for hundreds of people it was probably a fire hazard! There were a few great wines and beers to taste. However lines and lines and crowded! There was yet ANOTHER line to get into tasting cheese. We ended up leaving 15 minutes after entering. It was not worth it at all! The organizers need to have more space and be more organized!
