Fairfield Pines at Riverhead

Apartments themselves are quite nice, move in condition great, impressive wall sound insulation. Now for the bad… laundry facilities are un-​maintained. Water is left for months in some washers, dryers never fixed. There are numerous personnel and phone numbers that the main office gives you to call for issues, but NOBODY EVER CALLS YOU BACK. I’ve had relentless noise issues from my neighbor and questions on my lease and they never call you back. When I finally got a hold of one of the managers about my noise issue I sent her written requests about the issue 4 separate times in about as many months, in which she said they will talk to the neighbors and finally not renew their lease, but turns out they never did a single thing. Issue persists.
I’ve heard from several others tenants who unanimously report the same findings… absolutely horrible lackluster management, who are not on site. Plus, they raised rent $ 75 without warning. If you decide not to renew your lease you better have another place settled, otherwise you’re locked into another year’s worth.
Do yourself a favor and not rent from ANY of Fairfield’s properties. They are unscrupulous, lying bureaucrats who evidently don’t care whatsoever about anything except making money.
