I am seriously addicted to the walnut shrimp and the green beans with shiitake mushrooms. I eat here often when I am in town. The service and atmosphere are great.

On a sister lunch date. First time here! Ordered almost all the appetizers, they were tasty.

Tried previously disappointing«Monark» again today. Still disappointing and pricy. Lunch special is $ 10 w/o soup or drink. My granddaughter’s fountain lemonade was $ 3.75. She did like her sweet & sour chicken, but my beef broccoli was missing that extra something … What is it? Oh yes, flavor.

Always eat here when visiting Riverside. Very flavorful and light dishes. Thai/Chinese fusion. Karen, the owner, is a gracious host.

We love ordering Chinese from here. Never eaten inside the restaurant, but we get take-out every few weeks from this place. Our favorites include the walnut shrimp, angel hair, and potstickers. One star down because it is a little pricey for Chinese take-out. But it’s VERY yummy!

Karen is simply the best and her green beans re out of this world! The hot and sour soup is delicious as is everything else on the menu. This is such a great local business and so worthy of support. I waitressed here when I was younger and can vouch for the freshness and the quality of the product she brings to the table. Also very veggie friendly :)

This place is great. Quiet and clean. Chicken pad Thai is bomb. Love it. Perfect amount of heat to it. I wish more people knew about this place Even though I like it being quiet. Great service and great food. Check it out. It’s on the back of the shopping center see keep your eyes open.

Nestled in the Canyon Crest outdoor mall, it’s in the back of a less frequented area, next to the Hallmark store. The inside itself is very beautiful with some great décor, though it was very quiet when we visited(nobody eating there during the afternoon apparently). Food was delicious, but nothing overly memorable or noteworthy.

Just tried this place for the first time and I loved it! The ambiance is relaxing, the food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. I tried the garlic peppered chicken, beef spicy greens, and hot and sour soup. SOGOOD! Great for a date night or family dinner.

My friend wanted to try this place so after hunting and hunting we finally found it next to Ralph’s. Don’t rely on the Unilocal map to find the entrance to this place! The waiter who seated us dropped the menus on a table and walked away without saying a word, so we assumed that is where we were to sit! Our waitress came by and was very friendly from the start. She tried her best to make up for the failures of the kitchen and did ok on refilling drinks considering she had 4 of the 6 tables that were occupied. The first issue was the bowl of Wonton soup without any wontons! Not sure how you could miss the main ingredient of wonton soup, but the waitress was very apologetic she didn’t catch that when she served the first cups to us. She got us a new bowl and prepared it to go since our food had already arrived. The second issue was the Sweet & Sour chicken. The sauce was bland and some of the chicken was tough to eat. The quality of the food here is not as good as other Chinese restaurants in the area and the portion sizes are considerably smaller as well, while the prices are higher! It is apparent the owners believe a little remodeling justifies paying more for the«ambiance»! I suggest you skip eating here and with the money you save buy a drink at a less expensive restaurant with better food and create your own ambiance! I would like to mention that no one talked to us besides the waitress and no manager was anywhere to be seen so it is obvious the owners don’t care for feedback!

Nice location. Kung pao chix was tasty. Eggs rolls were good. Fast, friendly service. Will definitely be back.

It was just ok. Only ordered one dish(angel hair pasta with chicken and shrimp, garlic, onions and fresh coriander). Was lukewarm and not very flavorful. Service was good but I doubt I’d come back here when there are so many other options in the area.

Better than average local Asian food. I’ve never been dissapointed. Today was the Thai Ginger Pork. Service and ambiance are pleasant.

The food was good, but for our party of six, they brought out everyone’s dish at different times, so I was stuck there having to wait for everyone to get their food while mine got cold as mine was the first or second dish to get served. They may want to rethink how they get the food out.

The food is ok, average. However, the prices are too high for the quality of food. Service is friendly and décor is attractive. Not sure if I would go back to Monark.

Service was better than the food. Ambiance was very nice but we were disappointed with the food. Orange chicken was a little on the dry side taste was fair. Asparagus with shrimp with pork was not to my liking. Sweet and sour pork dish was very good. Unfortunately we won’t be back. We feel we wasted $ 70.00.

This was the first time I ate here and second time eating the food(first was take out). It was empty when we went, only my boyfriend and I, so the waiter was very attentive. I was able to have a small sample of the Riesling I wanted and when I got the glass after I liked it, the waiter was very generous with the amount of wine I got. I got the angel hair pasta which was really good but too many veggies in my opinion and my boyfriend got the sweet and sour chicken. He wasn’t able to get fried rice for a side because they didn’t serve it in small portions, which kinda through me off.

Their meat substitutes are so weird. They are breaded triangle soy nuggets. It’s a good portion of food but what does any of that mean if the«meat» is soggy and the sauce is runny and bland? Oh, I had the orange«chicken»

Great Riverside-local place. Top notch food, but surprisingly never busy. Service is great, and the ambiance is nice. I highly recommend them. They have a fusion of different Asian foods. I recommend trying their Thai-style entrees.
