Pierce Francis Floyd, CPA

Getting an appointment with Floyd is very hard. I’ve called twice already and I’ll probably need to call at least another two or three times. He won’t return calls to confirm my requested appointment time.
His office in general looks like a bomb hit. Lot’s of papers and boxes stacked all over. He’s been in this building long enough to tidy it up. The chairs you sit in are wood chairs with cushions that have that 80’s feel. I think the only thing newer there may be his computer disk for the current tax year. His prices used to be more reasonable, however, he says that he has to account for the new price of a ream of paper. I was thinking of taking a ream in to avoid another tax preparation increase.
I need to find another CPA that’s easy to reach and on time with his appointments. I hate waiting when I’m punctual. I may end up having my taxes done by his associate who is very personable. If you have all your tax info ready he’s able to give you the papers to sign and he sends them in electronically. Don’t go in there with a shoebox full of receipts unless you want to be charged even more. Time is money ;)

Francis Floyd Pierce is the CPA you go to because your father goes to him and your father’s father went to him (OR) at least this is how it is in my family and I would most certainly recommend him to anyone looking to get their taxes done or for any other services CPAs offer.
When you arrive at his office, the seating area is comfortable with a lot of magazines to read. There is an old fashioned 1980’s sort of feel about the place although I can’t explain why. When you get called into to see him, you sit down with pictures of his family all around (a real personal sort of touch I think), he looks at your tax information, process’ it quickly, prints you out a copy for this year’s records with your estimated return, and then bills you. The fee is always a more then fair and inexpensive charge, which can be paid up to a month after services are rendered, this being good because that is around the time when my tax return comes in the mail :).
Like I said my family has been using his services for quite some time now which means his business is tried and true from my family’s first hand experience through the many years.
With a job well done, inexpensive fee, & friendly service means once a year I’ll be making a trip down here for many years to come.
