First off the pizza is not good… It’s too doughy and it doesn’t have any flavor. Me and my roommate got the half cheese and half pepperoni, and the BBQ chicken pizza. The BBQ chicken had too much cilantro and not enough cheese. Secondly, their sizes are waaaay off. The personal size is a mini normally. Small is tiny. Medium is small. Large is medium… And so on. It’s way overpriced for not good pizza

Friendly service. Good pizza. Wings and breadsticks could use an upgrade in quality.

Ray’s Pizza generates a very tasty, high quality pizza. The sauce is perfect and paired with fresh made dough – in house – and fresh ingredients. Our pizza was cooked perfectly – not over done. This is a very clean family owned, family run restaurant that, and it is extremely clean. I highly recommend Ray’s Pizza, 1201 University Ave, Suite 116, Riverside, Ca 92507. Next to the Regency Theatres.

I’ve gone here a few times and the pizza is pretty spot on but recently … ? I like this place because you can make your own medium pizza(«build your own pizza» — this specific phrase will be mentioned later …) and they have a deal where it’s $ 8(+ tax) for 5 toppings of your choice, which is great for college students. I usually go for the pesto base, chicken, mushroom, onions, and bell peppers. I didn’t like it this time around(my 3rd or 4th visit?) because the pizza toppings were dry as if they were old but the crust was really good — not too hard or dry or anything! It had a nice crunch. Okay now to the *real* criticisms. The first few times, I had great servers who were attentive and really walked me through the menu because it can get a little overwhelming. They even walked over a few times when I had my pizza there to check up on my party to see if we needed anything. But this time. Oh man, I was so heated after placing my order. My server was low-key racist as if I didn’t understand English and unnecessarily sassy. Time to crack down on the attitude: I said«make my own pizza» and she felt the need to correct me even though it’s literally a synonym of their marketed phrase — now you might be thinking I’m over-exaggerating but if you heard the tone and saw her body language you would most likely stand with me. About the racism, you ask? Again, her tone and body language and the way she looked at me and my cousin just rubbed us both the wrong way. Very condescending. I’m pretty sure my pizza was salty today because of her unnecessary salty attitude(and probably because the pesto wasn’t mixed together well [it was in a squeeze bottle]).

Great Pizza and affordable!!! For $ 7.99, you can get a medium pizza with up to 5 toppings! It tastes pretty damn amazing, it’s crispy, and a great escape from the mediocre dorm food! The service is also amazing because the staff is helpful and respectful.

Pizza is pretty good. It comes out quick and its cheap. They have different combo for what u might prefer. Combo #1 is the most food

Got the two slices of cheese and 16oz deal. The slices came out the oven pretty hot, waited 7−10min and it was cool enough. The crust is light and enjoyable allowing for the sauce and cheese to stand out. Too bad they don’t beyond a slightly noticeable spice to the marinara. The cheese is underwhelming if not unnoticeable. They do specialty pizzas, which I hear are good but, if they can’t do a plain cheese justice I am suspect the specialty pies are just masking things with volume over flavours. Although, I did grab the last two slices just after 8pm. So maybe I just got some old slices but, who knows. Additionally, I was trying to do the math on the best values per slice size verses a whole pizza calculating the surface area. Will update with results.

This is your average pizza joint. Nothing special or great about Ray’s pizza. The prices are high for a pizza joint. Depending on which pizza selection you get, there will be a wait. My bf and I got pepperoni and chicken wings. The pizza was warm, cheesy, and thin. We had finished our slices for 5 mins then our wings came out. 3 stars because the employees were very nice. The have great customer service and even cleaned our plates when we were done eating.

The prices were alright. But the pizza is very mediocre and particularly the dough just sucks. It really does taste like a frozen pizza. Disappointing.

This pizza rocks! We ordered two gigantic pizzas and it fed 17 people with at least two slices each. The crust and sauce were awesome! They are very generous with the ingredients on the salads. The antipasto and garden salad were great. Two large swede enough for us. Last but not least, the customer service amazing. The rep that answered the phone was patient and knowledgeable about all of the food. The delivery person also very friendly and courteous. I definitely recommend this pizza to anyone with a stomach!

overall just wasnt very impressed. Wings were a little mushy and the blue cheese was bland. Pizza was a little below the average side, thinner crust, sauce was pretty ok though.

Ray’s Pizza is nothing special. I tried it one night after class, and everything was mediocre. I bought the 2 slices and a drink special for $ 6.99, and left feeling slightly ripped off. I felt that the pizza taste was just subpar and the amount you get for the price isn’t fair. If it was $ 5.00 flat for a pizza and a drink, I would leave feeling happy, but the prices are too high for my liking.

Best pizza in Riverside when it’s fresh. Their sauce flavor is amazing and they use real mozzarella and a high quality pepperoni. It’s a couple bucks more than the big chains but worth the minimal price difference. I love Ray’s!

I love Rays Pizza! Best slices of pie you’ll get in all of the UCR and down town areas! Their ratios are on point! The cheese, the amazing sauce with the perfect amount of basil! And oh that crust, that crispy, flakey golden crust! Perfecto! All accompanied with top notch customer service Oh and we called to order a minute before they closed and they still made our pizza! 5 stars for Rays they really deserve it!

It is the only pizza that I have liked in the US since I came here a year ago. It’s thin-crusted, it has the perfect amount of sauce and cheese, and the range of ingredients for the topping is just ideal(not too long, not too short, though I would GREATLY appreciate it if you added prosciutto to the list of choices!). The service is very friendly, the delivery is prompt, and they always listen to special requests. Also, the chicken wings are great, they are cooked but not soaked in the bbq sauce which is a huge deal! I highly recommend their pizza. I became a fan, and now order every week.

I don’t often write Unilocal reviews, mainly because I don’t like to complain, especially about small businesses. Saying that, I was disappointed with my visit to Ray’s. My main complaint is the size of a pizza. I was ordering for a few people, so I ordered two medium size pizzas. We weren’t planning on pigging out, but these pizzas were so small, we had to make another trip elsewhere after finishing these because we were still hungry. As far as the taste, they were average pizzas. The toppings did not taste very fresh. To be honest, because of the size and the toppings it felt like I was eating one of those frozen, microwaveable pizzas that cost 1 or 2 dollars at the grocery store.

Ordered a medium pepperoni for delivery today. The pizza came to us late and looked like a small pizza. I called to complain and the owner told me that they recently changed the size of there pizza. He than personally brought over a large pizza with cookies to make up for the inconvenience. Very nice guy and obviously make sure his customers are satisfied. The pizza itself was very tasty and great crust.

First time here. This kids working here take pride in putting out a great product. The pies were dilicious! They don’t use pork pepperoni, it is all beef. Didn’t know how I’d feel about it but, it is delicious! Everytime we come to visit my boy, I’ll definitely come here.

Mmmm… If greasy pizza is your thing then go for it. I personally found it absolutely delicious; I hadn’t had such a greasy pizza in my entire life and this one topped it off. The pepperonis literally had pools of grease. Just thinking about it makes me hungry… The drink sizes are adequate if you’re sitting in. They have a cooler off to the side filled with jugs of soda so you might want to take that instead of their small cups. Folding your pizza in half is essential for keeping as much grease as there is. Any of the grease that slips off can be absorbed with the crust. A must if you’re around the area. Pros: Greasy delicious pizza Lemon Lime Gatorade on the soda fountain Did I mention how good the pizza was Cons: I don’t live close to it
