Very much enjoyed my stay. In terms of accommodations, you know, you get what you pay for. But checking in was super quick and easy, and was only an extra $ 5 to have my dog with me. There’s wifi, TV, a hot shower… And can’t beat the convenience to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

I like this place for what it is. Clean, affordable, retro, and available. I’d much rather give money to a local business than a chain, and this place fits. No frills, but there is enough nearby to fulfill that if you need to. Definitely a good stop for motorcyclists who are coming off the BRP.

This small mom and pop motel’s A-Ok in my book, it’s nothing special but it has just enough to get you by. And the price was right, we paid 44 $ and think it was a good deal for the area. The owner were nice and courteous, and parking was ample. The hotel is in a great location in town, right across from a nice new Walmart. *Make sure you use the correct address b/c the gps & Unilocal will map you in the wrong direction.

It’s mostly an OK place to stay. No wifi, the bathroom was kind of scary, and the non-smoking room smelled pretty smoky. It was kind of inexpensive but I paid about $ 15 more per night than I expected compared to the quality of the room I got, and the room I could have had for about $ 25 more at a chain. I was on a budget so I stayed, but for $ 25 more I could have had wifi, a cleaner bathroom, and possibly less smoke. It is really close to the parkway so if you’re in town for that, this is an OK place to stay. The employees(possibly the owners?) are super nice.
