I love Krispy Kreme doughnuts. I can’t imagine how I would feel about them if at this location I had had my first bite. The doughnuts were stale the first time I went, then gummy, then stale again, then off, and then I stopped going. They had the sign on that signals that they have hot doughnuts, but half of the time the doughnuts were old. The service was slow, and the kids who work there were awful. I tried to get a job there within a week of them opening. I returned it on a busy Sunday morning, waiting patiently in line with everyone else. When it was finally my turn, I politely asked the man behind the counter if he could give my application to a manager. He turned around and handed it to an awful women who I suppose is the manager. She looked at it and said«I guess I can turn this in but we aren’t even hiring,» even though they had a help wanted sign in the window. She glared the whole time and was yelling at employees. She didn’t even look at me. Fire that hag. Lastly, I went through the drive thru to get a dozen glazed. While placing my order, the girl was laughing into the microphone and I couldn’t hear the price. When I got up to the window, her and another employee were both there laughing. After a few minutes, she retold me my price and I paid her. They were still talking. After she gave me my card back, she stared at the boy who was supposed to be boxing my doughnuts; he said«what, are there no doughnuts in the box?» and she burst out laughing again, while not looking at me. I had to wait an additional 5 minutes to listen to their conversation and wait for my stale, cold dozen. I guess they thought since I was around their same age that this was appropriate behavior, or that I wouldn’t mind. But here’s the one star Unilocal review. For all that’s holy, don’t go here unless you want to deal with immature servers and bad doughnuts that taint the Krispy Kreme name.

I’m not sure why people are so dissatisfied with this location. I’ve had, so far, nothing but good experiences here. My biggest complaint was that the floor was a bit dirty in the dining room once, but it was nice and clean every other visit. I love the hot fresh original glazed donuts and they are mere 190 calories!

Understaffed. Dirty. The guy making the doughnuts this morning was literally texting on his phone while making the doughnuts. Watching the doughnuts come off the conveyor belt and go on the floor or in the trash was less than appealing. We waited 20 minutes. I felt like I was in the twilight zone

We gave this place another try. Yet another disappointing experience. Tip: Do not go to their website menu and expect this location to have any of the flavors listed there. They might have half of those listed. And the regular glazed donuts are probably 2⁄3 to ½ the normal size I’ve had at other locations. Do yourself a favor and go some place else. You’ll only be wasting your time and leave disappointed.

The staff is extremely friendly and fun. The store is clean and well organized. The manager, Mark, goes out of his way to help us every time we come. The wonderful service and fabulous seasonal donuts make this place a perfect stop any time of day!

Second time to order an iced coffee and have the price be two dollars more than what the menu says. The first time this happened(several months ago), the manager was there and he corrected the issue. This time the girl working could barely understand what I was asking for. No, not hot chocolate. No, not«no milk». Sorry to be snotty, but why is is so difficult and then you charge me twice as much for a cup of coffee? You aren’t Starbucks. And if it’s actually THAT much, fix your menu! Otherwise, they are raking in extra money from unknowing customers. After the craptastic day I’ve had today, bye! I shall grab caffeine elsewhere.

Picked up a few dozen donuts before work this morning. Fast service, and donuts were delicious! This will be my before-work donut spot from now on!

Horribly slow service every time. Always out of items. They can’t seem to get it together for the busy times

I really did give this place a fair chance. Two visits, both of which took about half an hour despite there being only one car ahead of me and their orders appeared very small. I jokingly asked if they could slip me a free one due to the absurd wait and I was given a stern, «no!» I didn’t actually expect of rang free food but u did expect the cashier to at least apologize or explain the situation. No such luck. All I had ordered were four standard glazed donuts, paid cash with exact change, and the entire process moved at a galacial pace. I recommend going to the Donut store across 377 and 114, next to the grocery store. There your dollar goes much further, and the food quality is much higher.(99¢ gets you a pig in a blanket and half a dozen Donut holes versus at crispy crème where 99¢ gets you a glazed Donut and a huge time suck.) Also the woman that runs that Donut store always had a cheerful and warm attitude, gives prompt service and wears really adorable aprons.

Worst Krispy Kreme ever. They have always had an odd taste as compared to any other franchise. Last Saturday I picked up a dozen, got home, and the kids asked if I got different donut. The looked as though they missed the glaze. I called them to inquire, and a little girl informed me that they were having concistency issue with their glaze. It’s a donut! If making something that can be crafted in a trailer at the county fair challenges you…

Super place. My kids love watching the donuts getting made! This was my first time in the Roanoke store. The manager was extremely nice and patient while my boy tried to decide what he wanted. The lobby and restrooms were clean. But most of all the food was awesome! I don’t eat donuts too often, but when I do, I’m definitely coming back!

I was so excited when this place opened! Sadly they disappoint despite repeated visits, each one filled with hope but ultimately ending in sadness. I have also gotten a box full of huge over-risen doughnuts… Sometimes I go and there are NO doughnuts at all at 9pm on a Friday, but they are taking orders for pickup in the morning! Ever since KK Dallas locations were taken over by franchisee things have gone downhill, even at the Grapevine location. So sad.

We love donuts. Krispy Kreme has amazing donuts and their iced coffee is pretty great too. Unfortunately, their service is consistently bad. It seems to be limited to this location as I’ve been to locations all across the U.S. Occasionally, I’ll also be incorrectly charged, which is an added bonus. It’s not like the lines are that long either, they’re just plain disorganized and slow.

I know with the reviews I’ve seen of this doughnut shop, you guys are Texans, this is the best doughnut place in America. Raised on KK, love it.

Krispy Kreme has the best donuts ever! Fast, fresh service amazing donuts and a nice place all around! Krispy Kreme is underestimated. I don’t know why this Krispy Kreme doesn’t have 5 stars. Keep it up!

Once again this place fails me. I love getting their specialty donuts that are seasonal. It’s springtime and they have an Oreo one that looks like dirt with the gummy worm in it. I got the doughnut but there was no worm on it. So it just looks like black dirt on the doughnut. I even asked where is my gummy worm? That guy just stood there and said I don’t know. I really wanted the honeybee doughnut but they didn’t have any at all and they didn’t know why either. The workers seem kind of clueless here. I also got a couple of Maple and a glazed. Every single one of the doughnuts were all cold, too thick, not the fluffy light airiness goodness that is Krispy Kreme. I will now can’t enjoy it and will have to take it home to Zap it in the microwave for a bit

Too big, heavy and thick. GET A GRIPROANOKE! The donuts didn’t even fit in the box! Sad example for Krispy Kreme. I’ll go back to Grapevine location where they know what they’re doing.

My first time here and awesome experience. Krispy Kreme offers hot, warm, fresh, tasty donuts close to home and this makes me a happy girl. Although I did not go inside to enjoy the full experience of Krispy Kreme I opted for the drive thru as I was in a hurry. When I pulled in there were 6 cars ahead of me and after reading the other reviews I thought it would take forever to pick up my order. But NOOOO, it look just a few minutes to place my order and pick it up at the last window and I was out of there. And the donuts, as expected yummy. The chocolate iced was my favorite. The service was excellent, like I said I was in and out of there quickly and my order was waiting for me when I arrived at the window. Great service, great donuts…

This place won’t last Service is terrible. Donuts don’t live up to the Krispy Kreme name. The drive-through is a half hour wait with no sense of urgency. I understand it’s a new store but it won’t last in less the management does a better job of running it. I won’t be back through it takes too long and I don’t have the time to wait in the morning.
