This place is not the greatest Tex-Mex in history. It’s probably the greatest this small town has seen because it’s the only one for miles. The food I ordered generally takes 10 minutes to prepare anywhere else but here it took 20 minutes. A chalupa(no meat), cheese dip & shredded chicken quesadilla takes literally no time to prepare. Also, you do not get a complimentary chips & salsa with a call in order. Any call in order I have ever done at a Mexican restaurant has had chips & salsa. The taste is pretty average… cardboard with cheese. If you can wait to get to the next big city then do that. If not, good luck.

My husband and I have eaten several times and the food and service is great. We love to eat here. Owner is very friendly and so are the waiters and waitresses.

This time I had the taco, rice and beans aka the J. And it was wonderful. The owner José checked on us throughout the meal and made me feel at home. The salsa is mild but you have the choice of getting a hotter salsa also. I would recommend the tacos.
