Its getting better! My wife and I live nearby, but hadn’t made a habit of this place because the service… kinda sucked. Great patio, cool bocce court, pretty good food, iffy service.
We went again because the weather was nice, the deck can’t be beat, and I saw the barbeque trailers cooking. The service was way, way better. And the BBQ is still top notch (though a little fatty.). Happy to have them around the corner, and have started making this a work-​lunch regular stop.

i was in the area visiting my mother at raleigh court’s skilled nursing facility. in heading home, i passed and saw what looked like a large group of people having a really good time and decided it was time to visit «village grill».
i initially envisioned a quick drink, but our visit quickly morphed into an «olé fashioned southern hoot’nannny». we drank, we snacked on fried pickles and then we drank some more. we polished our visit off with a big olé burger stuffed with all kinds of decadent delights.
a good time was had by all. and honestly, it relieved some of the stress of having a parent in a care facility. thanks village grill — i needed that.
