What a great little gem in my local area. I saw this little winery featured in a local magazine last year and it was on my radar. I had a friend driving up to see me so I went ahead and called to see if they were open. I got a machine so i figured they were not and did not leave a message. The winemaker called me back because he had a missed call and I explained that i was just trying to visit he said oh come on out we ARE indeed open. It is lovely countryside and a great drive. We arrived and a few other couples were inside also. It is 6.00 for a tasting and you get to keep the little glass. I actually loved all the wines. Not a bad one was tasted. Dry fly was my favorite so i had to get a bottle to bring home. The wines are named around the body of water that is near the Kinni. The owners are very pleasant and willing to engage in conversation. They had helpers that day as they tend to get busy and Cory was enthusiastic and friendly while keeping our tasting moving along. This is a young winery but I see very big things in their future!

Rating des Ortes: 5 River Falls, WI
My wife and I visited 65 Vines Winery this past Friday night for a personal tour and wine tasting with the winemaker and vineyard manager Scott Andrzejczak. Their quality control man Beckham also stopped in to make sure our experience was top notch. For only six dollars a piece we tasted five wines and a hard cider, each paired with a cheese and dark chocolate, and the glasses were ours to keep. The scenery is perfect, with the vines tucked away off of a quiet country road NE of River Falls, and the developing tasting room and grounds gives this winery an intimate feel not easy to find. It was a perfect setting for a long overdue date night!
