PUSHY PUSHY PUSHY! So annoying, don’t even bother having them estimate a job they will keep calling you even years after the job has been done by some one else. I rant a bit below, TLDR version — Dont use them they will try and rip you off. Go with Franks or Utech or anyone else.
Also make sure to check the better business bureau. From what i recall they had a number of complaints filed against them.
I had a somewhat leaky basement, it only leaked after really heavy rain or large snow melt. I needed drain tile and a sump pump installed, i also had a vapor barrier installed around the perimeter because i am finishing the basement. I had three companies come out and estimate the job. Two local (non-​franchise, everdry is a franchise i believe) companies and everdry come out. Franks and Utech came out and gave me an estimate for the work that needed to be done, they were friendly informative and honest (I ended up going with Franks, Utech didn’t seem bad though). Everdry came out they were there for almost 3 hours pointing out every little crack and chip in the foundation, after the walk through they sat down and tried to hard sell me on the work. The way the salesman spoke you would think that my house was about to fall down (its not, and both franks and utech said that the basement was actually in good shape other than needing the drain tile). On top of the hyperbole, this guy was try to sell me on a vent fan for the basement. This isnt a terrible idea, however he didn’t know the specifications, details or functionality of the fan to the point where when asked he didn’t even realize that it would create a negative pressure situation in the house, and didnt even seem to understand the simple concept that pulling air out meant that there had to be air pulled in from somewhere with out an air return it would make the whole house drafty.
On top of all that they were way higher priced than either of the companies who didn’t seem like they were trying to rip me off.
About 6 months later they called and insisted on coming back out to re-​estimate the job, its done and i am happy with the work franks has done.
Even after telling them every time on the phone i am not interested and the job is done they keep calling. A year and a ½ later i am still getting phone calls from them every few months. One time they had the audacity to ask for a reference, on work they hadn’t even won the job for!
