Galleria Pizza

Came in on a Thurs. about a half hour prior to closing time. Although I was the only one there the staff were friendly and I felt welcome. I order the 12″ Buffalo Chicken Finger hot sub.
This sub is the real deal. Big a$$ homemade battered fried chicken breasts with a delicious buffalo sauce. The tenders were crisp and delicious. The bread was soft and toasted perfectly. Blue cheese dressing lined the sub alongside lettuce and tomato.
This sandwich is HUGE and has some real weight to it, but I had no problem getting it all down. So delicious! I will definitely be back to try something else.

I came here recently to try it out for lunch and although my lunch was very yummy, I wasn’t really that impressed.
There is a ton of seating which is nice and it was a great quiet place to eat lunch.
There was no line so I was able to order what I wanted as soon as I figured out what it was that I did want.
The staff was friendly and professional which is always a plus and unfortunately something that I have to actually comment on.
I ordered a 6 inch chicken Parmesan sub for my lunch. The chicken was scrumptious and the sauce was also good. There was the perfect ratio of chicken to cheese to sauce however, I felt that there was too much bread for the sandwich. I felt like a good amount of my sandwich was just bread and that was disappointing.
I also felt that it was kind of expensive. I paid $ 9 and change for my sandwich and a soda. That price didn’t include any kind of sides.
Overall, I will come back again just so they can try to redeem themselves but I will learn from the past and I will order a slice of pizza instead of a sandwich. I am interested in how their pizza will compare to pizza stop right across the street. Chances are after I give them the second chance, I won’t come back unless nothing else is open.

My husband and I are in Rochester on business. Needed lunch and checked Unilocal for a good wing spot. On reviews, we came here. GREAT decision!
The wings and homemade sauce are outstanding!
My hubby also had the turkey chili and the flavor was incredible.
The owner took our order and was probably one of the most gracious business owners I’ve ever met. That is the great design of business and this place has it.
Place was clean… even the cubby where forks are kept is cleaned out. These things matter.
Wings and chili a must!

Came in here at lunch time and saw them doing some serious volume. The eating areas on both sides of the hall were packed. Ordered the fish sandwich, and it was more of a fish sub – huge, and the roll was delicious. My boyfriend got the burger special with fries. The food came out quickly, thanks to the guys behind the counter who were laboring with singular purpose. The only drawback was that I smelled like fried food for the rest of the day. Wait, drawback… hmmm. I would return.

My review is based exclusively on their wings. They are straight up are amazing and I crave them all the time. They have a very unique homemade recipe for their sauce and their wings are cooked perfectly 99% of the time… which for me is well done and very crispy. The owner, Tony, is a very nice guy and one time even gave me a bucket of his sauce for a camping trip I had. I asked for the recipe but he wouldn’t give it to me and gave me the sauce instead. Can you blame him though?
I’ve never had their pizza so I can’t speak to that unfortunately… but definitely go there for the wings.

This place is one of the most popular lunch time destinations in the downtown area. The abysmal dearth of reviews may easily be attributed to the fact that people tend to forget what they eat when they are at work. The fact remains that this is one of the best restaurants in the city not just for the food, which does speak for itself, but also for a personal touch that you rarely see today. As soon as its your turn in the queue, which is usually pretty long on a weekday, the owner greets you with a smile and calls you by your name because if you have ever been to his joint, he knows you by name! Try the chicken parm hot sub or the fish fry on a Friday afternoon. Or anything on the menu. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love it here! It is a block from my work. When I order it it is hot and ready in a short time. Their quesadillas are awesome. The owner that usually runs the register is extremely friendly. He has started to recognize me and knows my name. The whole staff even back in the kitchen are very nice and efficient. Makes my day when I get lunch here. Great food and nice people.

Galleria Pizza is a wonderful breakfast and lunch spot located in the Reynolds Arcade building in downtown Rochester. Known for their pizza, they also feature a full menu including grill items and subs made from fresh bread. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is clean and well maintained. If you want to try something different, I recommend their «breakfast pizza» that is topped with scrambled eggs, cheese and bacon.
