Legends Sports Bar & Grille

Unfortunately I can’t give this place zero stars… I have not seen my waitress for over 30 minutes. I have had to go refill my Coke twice by my self at the wait station. Ordered the poutine which came 45 minutes later Luke warm room temp. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Stopped here before the Springsteen concert. Very crowded so we didn’t expect quick service. But to stand at the bar for 25 minutes– no exaggeration — being ignored until finally getting a beer is ridiculous. Bartenders completely clueless and have obviously not been properly trained. Never again.

The definition of a dive bar… The quality of the food is beyond disappointing. And not to mention the outdated menu that goes hand and hand with the set up and style of the bar/​restraint. Service was fast but wouldn’t recommend it unless you enjoy greasy poorly executed food.

Not only was the food good, but Bob the manager was absolutely amazing. Not only did he get us in and out quick like we requested but he was absolutely hilarious. Loved him!

Friendly server. Menu is limited and food is average. Our poutine appetizer was served cold. I would not bother to ever go back.

I’ve been coming to Legend’s for years when I have been I been in town in conferences. I have always loved to come here and had great service. Tonight the bartenders all had horrible attitudes. Must be the fact that they were three deep at the bar with people throwing money at them was too much. Nicki said she had a headache and it was to much for her to handle so next time I’ll take my money some place else

Went with a group of people, waited 2 hours for food. A few of the people that showed up about 30 mins to an hour after the main group were served first. One of the person was waiting 3 hours for a wrap. The rest of the restaurant was basically empty. Very short staffed, would not eat there again. Food came cold and wasn’t all that great tasting. Never going to eat here again.

Mediocre food and service. I think it’s too pricey for the selection of food they offer. Chicken sandwich came out missing one of its main Ingredients, the bacon and the rice pilaf looked and tasted like it came from a box.

Me and some co workers came here for lunch and I had fries with the wings and they were good mild means extremely hot! The drinks were good as well, I can honestly say they were a little overpriced for bar food. It was lunch and empty so we had the bartender and he was very attentive and available. He didn’t throw himself in our conversation but still checked on us when it was appropriate. I would recommend this place!

We stayed at the Raddison riverside for one week and we usually stay and eat at the hotel for the most part because we have a blind baseball team and its always easier that way. This place had the worst service when the bartender got a rush of visually impaired people she was upset and not helpful at all. The food was not good and I would rather eat a hungry man than eat here ever again.

I give this place 5 STARS! Service was amazing! Ordered a triple decker with a side salad to go. Looked fresh and delicious. Was there with a coworker and she got grilled chicken. Our bartenders Brett and Tim took wonderful care of us and made great conversation as well knowledgable about the menu. Thank you guys for a great experience for my first time in Rochester! :)

A group of us stayed at the Radisson Riverview in downtown Rochester for a soccer tournament, which is the hotel that Legends is located in.
Upon our arrival to the hotel, the concierge desk told us to check out the bar during our visit. We had a busy day, so therefore towards the end of the night we figured, hey why not just have dinner and drinks since Legends is conveniently located below.
We head to the restaurant around 7:30pm, the waitress tells us in advance that there is a 10 minute wait. We ask if we can at least be seated and order drinks — no problem. We notice that there are only about 5 – 7 tables occupied in the entire restaurant, but we understood there was a 10 minute wait. Our drinks came fairly quickly, so we asked to place our appetizer of calamari. I kid you not, after the waitress took our order we didn’t see her for another HALF HOUR. When she comes back she said «oh the calamari just dropped»… another HALF HOUR goes by. No sign of calamari, no sign of our waitress. We notice the tables next to us are all going through the same thing.
Now, we haven’t had anything to eat so my friend and I start eating peanut butter out of the little packets on the table. The waitress walks by and laughs, «Oh you guys had to eat the peanut butter because of the wait». Um, YES. We politely asked her if we could just get a better idea of how long the wait would be since an hour already passed, and/​or if we could get some bread sticks. She said we couldn’t have bread sticks until we placed our order in. Mind you — we haven’t seen our calamari yet, we’re ²⁄₃ drinks in, and we’ve been waiting over an hour and by now the restaurant only has 3 tables occupied.
Finally around 9:45pm, we see our order come out. Terrible food, my burger was too rare, the coleslaw was all mayo, my friends chicken was dry, our other friends chicken ceaser wrap was missing chicken. It was a MESS. To top it all off, the calamari came at 10pm AFTER our main course. It was a disaster. Unfortunately we didn’t read the Unilocal reviews in advance, but I can see that everyones feelings are mutual.
Oh, but thank you Legends for removing the calamari off our bill… that was really great customer service?

If you have time and money to waste then legends is the place for you. Waited along time for the food hardly anyone in the place. Overcharged plus when I asked for a box they threw my meal which I hardly touched away. They brought me back a replacement which was way under sized from what I received the first time. The manager felt really bad. Even though he gave a free lunch coupon … I don’t think I’ll use it … Very disappointed

This wasn’t a bad place. I went there for the first time last night. I had the linguini pomodoro and it had a pretty good flavor. There was a shit ton of garlic in it, but if you like a shit ton of garlic, this dish is for you! Our waitress was attentive and friends. I’m not rushing to go back next week, but I would go back eventually!

Will not go back!!! Waited 1 ½ hours for a salad and chicken. I think they were growing the lettuce. Service was horrible!

We went with a group of friends. The place is clean and neat. The food is OK… must say the service is super class… sply Brat who served us just did an awesome job he deserves a reward for his such a satisfactory service given to us… WE all wish him all the very best for future and great success ahead.

Bartenders are great, relaxing.

We went to legends for a drink the first night staying at the radisson. Nothing much going on on a Friday night. We ordered wings and beer. Food was decent bar food.
BUT We were charged for 13 wings instead of 9. When I questioned the bartender he simply took the check and changed the price. No apology. Seemed like a scam. Wouldn’t go back.

Food here is not good.
Service is actually quite good.
Drinks are ok. Expensive for what you get (bottle of Salmon Run Riesling for $ 27 or something) but maybe that’s normal restaurant pricing.
I’ve eaten here once for people from out of town who didn’t want to leave their hotel, and I got drinks here once to catch up with a friend after she attended a rehearsal dinner nearby.
It would never be my first choice, but the drinks experience here was fine. We ordered a bottle of Relax Riesling around 10pm and didn’t stop talking till after 1am. The staff were nice and unobtrusive and let us talk well after they closed (which I think occurred at 11:30 or 12?) — leaving us alone to talk in the restaurant with just the bar open in the other room. Really nice of them.
As I said, I wouldn’t recommend it for food, but drinks were fine. Service was great.
