My friends often host their holiday picnics at Marie Daley Park so I’ve had the pleasure of celebrating several Memorial Days and 4th of Julys there. It’s the perfect size that if you bring your family, they can roam and you’ll be able to keep and eye on them. The playground is nice. There are grills, and picnic tables, plus enough shade to stay cool. Set up canjam, play frisbee, or even throw together a game of kickball if you have enough people(the park has a baseball field). It’s basically the size of one block, but never too crowded. It’s tucked in a quiet part of the South Wedge and we always have a great time. A great spot to have a cookout with friends, relax, and enjoy some cold brews under the summer sun.

A nice little park with plenty of room to take your dog or set up a game of canjam. A small baseball diamond in one corner and some playground equipment in the opposite corner. Lots of grassy areas makes this a great neighborhood park. It is only about a block in size so no hiking or trails or anything, but it’s a great place to spend a lazy afternoon with friends enjoying the sunshine and the shade from the trees in the area.
