My faults and weaknesses abound. It’s merely by the grace of God and the kindness of my fellow man that I still exist. Okay? However, even in my state, I have learned to use the tools available for me. One being spellcheck. On my trusty olé Mac, I don’t even have to select the spellcheck command. It does it automatically! So, I really, really, get annoyed when I see spelling errors on professional documentation. I have been at this McDonalds twice in the past three months. BOTH times there was a note on the delivery window with a misspelling. The first time I very nicely brought it to the employees attention: «Hi. I just wanted to let you know that the word convenience was misspelled.» I told him the correct way to spell it. His response? «Yeah, that’s OK, you get what we’re trying to say.» I didn’t even bother to say anything at the second misspelling. *shakes fist in the air* McDonald’s, you have beat me down with your mediocrity!
