Great pizza great people. Their white sauce pizza is the best, in addition they know your name if your semi regular just can’t say enough good things about them

I absolutely love pizza stop!(Don’t tell pontillos in the basin shhh!) this place was worth giving a try after having slices from the downtown location occasionally. Since then I work right off 104 and everyone at work was craving pizza and we decided to get it delivered, large buff chick and meatball parm with knots. Absolutely love the knots, flavorful garlicky spread and sauce on both pizzas were great. Coming here from now on for pizza!

Best pizza I’ve had in Rochester so far. Great sauce and crust. Wish they offered salad. Would be perfect.

I’ve been here a few times for lunch and the pizza slices are always great. If you like garlic you’ll have to try the garlic, broccoli & mushroom gourmet pizza it’s delicious.

Had this location more than a few times and it is bomb! I get the pizza wing combo extra sauce on pizza, extra crispy extra sauce on wings for buffalo medium and it is the best I have had. the flavor is intense plus the big wings and pizza is def good size Nothing bad to say about this place def my go to spot if its a pizza night.

We stopped by for a quick bite before going to dr appointment! By far the best pizza in Greece and a good representation of a New York City Pie! My significant other said it was the best pepperoni pizza ever! For my taste the sauce and cheese balance was excellent! If you are tired of same old cardboard tasting chain pizza joints like Dominos and Papa John’s then try the Pizza Stop next time. You won’t be disappointed! Remember you get what you pay for! By the way, the prices are quite reasonable! Mange!

They call this«Pizza Stoop» because the doorway is very short. Nobody over 5 foot 2 can actually get in here. Not without stooping anyway, hence the name. But since the hottest girl on earth is 5 foot 2 anyway, it makes sense that we’d all have to bend over(so to speak) to get inside(so to speak). However she’s always wearing seven inch heels, and I’m wondering, is it hard to stoop in heels? I’m not sure. Let’s all test this theory. Let’s put on seven inch heels and bend over and see how easy it is(so to speak). You go first. I’ll stand behind you and make sure you don’t fall over. What to get: White Garlic Mushroom Broccoli slice if they have it, also Grandma slice What else: Any other slice really And then what: It reminds me of how damn amazing the downtown location is. What else: If this were spoken backwards, it’d be Pots Azzip. Why you would put a zip in a pot I have no idea but each to their own, I suppose. Pizza Mop is named as such because the floor is always f***ing wet. I get sick of slipping on it and hurting myself. But I just can’t bring myself to sue them because the slices are so damn delicious. One of these days I totally will. Probably not. OK never. But then I’m not American, so the whole lawsuit thing… Anyway. Pizza Stop is hands down the best Pizza in Rochester. Joe’s Brooklyn is not too far back in second, and Carmine’s, some locations of Cam’s and Guida’s and others, Nino’s too, are all very good. But nothing compares to Pizza Stop. I highly recommend the downtown location(State St, just moved 2 doors down — not 3 doors down — from their previous location), because they have such an amazing location and the pizza tastes even better. If you have to run to the bathroom right after eating it, is it Pizza Plop? If you do come to this Greece location, perhaps because they’re open later or because of convenience if you live in the NW suburbs with all the hotties, then you’ll find excellent service and wonderfully delicious slices of pizza. They have a limited selection, especially later in the day. Their cheese, cheese pep and fancy meaty slices are all fantastic, but the broccoli white garlic mushroom(if they have it) is their piece de resistance. And if I used the same jokes that I used for the other location, it’d be Pizza Schtick. If Pizza Stop was located in NYC, it’d be one of the best pizza places in the Big Apple. That’s how good it is. Rochester is very lucky to have the two awesome locations of Joe’s Brooklyn and even moreso, these two wonderful Pizza Stop locations. Come and try the pizza and see for yourself why this is the very best in the 585.

First off, don’t expect to be getting the same pizza as if you were going to the original downtown location, the food is here is much different. It’s not at all disappointing considering some of the other pizza joints around the area but you won’t be getting the same experience, but you’ll create one here. Be cautious because Pizza Stop is located behind a Taco Bell and a Burger King, two mediocre fast food joints that may be cheaper but aren’t as satisfying. Having it be in a strip-mall is sort of a hit and miss but parking is never an issue. It’s not that large on the inside but that’s the point of this location, it’s best served as an area to order your food and then leave as soon as possible if you choose to come, but you can order from home anyway. Design and location aside, the food is the most important part of the business, so how does that turn out? Depends on what your order! I’m a simple pizza guy who only gets cheese or at the very least pepperoni on my pizza unless I find another topping that suits me. The cheese and sauce balanced out nicely but it was a bit greasy, something I can’t stand in most pizza’s but it wasn’t that severe. It was easy to bit into, not to hard to break a bracket and not to soft to disintegrate. The crust wasn’t that large and a bit thin but it wasn’t hard so it went down easy. The final grade for the pizza gets around a B+, solid and tasty but still lagging a bit behind. I did end up trying the garlic knots as a side, anything garlic is going to catch my attention. Those garlic knots are a real nightmare to my waist so I won’t be ordering them again but drenched in all that garlic… it’s hard to resist, but I’d eat about twenty of those, not good at all. So it isn’t the same as downtown but it creates it’s own take on what pizza they want to serve to the Greece area. For someone like me who alternates every week on which pizza to get, this may be one of the few places that I’ll be most likely returning to. What’s not to love?! Is it perfect? Well no, but for local residents on the west side of Rochester who want a taste of the pizza stop, this is the closest thing you can get to pizza perfection.

The service was fast and friendly. Easy parking in strip mall. The Garlic knots are some of the best things ever — Drenched in garlic butter/parm — so afraid that I am going to crave these now. We had a thin crust pepperoni/mushroom which was also tasty, thin/crispy crust. So good, check them out!

If I have to try on a bridesmaid’s dress in Greece, I’m going to take advantage of Pizza Stop being next door. I immediately walked through the door for a takeout slice after my appointment. We’ll worry about my dress fitting later. They had a few slices out of different varieties, just after the lunch rush and were making a few cheese and pepperoni pies. I opted for the last slice of the stuffed meatball parm. It’s my go-to slice when I visit the downtown location and I think the stuffed version is my new fave. I’m all about a thicker crust on my pizza and it was a great balance of cheese, meat and dough. One slice was ~$ 4. I was more than full after one piece. Other options worth trying: — Buffalo chicken — Garlic knots — Thin crust cheese(classic!) … you can’t go wrong! The space itself is best for takeout. The front area has only a few small tables to sit and wait for your food to be ready or to sit with a friend or two to eat. Greece is lucky to have a spot like this nearby. Order takeout or delivery and you’ll be more than satisfied on pizza night.

This pizza is perfect. Thin, but still satisfying, chewy and crispy. The garlic knots are outta this world. I’m drooling right now, wishing they were open.

Good, not great, NY-style pizza. Not the same as the Pizza Stop downtown, but that’s okay. It’s still not far behind and the service I experienced was excellent. The cashier was so friendly and willing to put anything on the slice before she put it into the over. Inexpensive, friendly and pretty authentic NY-style pizza. If you’re out and about near Unity Hospital or up in the Greece area, I’d recommend picking up a pie here. Similar to its brethren downtown, there isn’t much seating at all, and the ambiance is sparse, so it’s probably better to get things here to-go.

The original pizza stop downtown still reigns supreme. The fast turnover there means downtown has fresher pizza with more selections by the slice. Nevertheless, it’s still pretty good pizza.

Pizza is such a subjective thing, but having had pizza from here on a couple of occasions, I can say this is not my favorite among local places. While the dough is good with a nice«chew», I like a little«zing» to my sauce, and I found Pizza Stop to be way too sweet for my palate. Delivery is also a bit slow. The pizza we ordered for a kids bday party was really late, not good when you are trapped in a room of 9 year old boys!

This is probably the best pizza I’ve had in Rochester. It’s as good as that thin crust NY pizza place you crave. The hubs and I got a meatball and banana pepper pizza. The crust was perfect and crispy but soft where you wanted it to be. Toppings were really good and the seasoning was awesome. I really liked their red sauce. The hot wings were perfect and you don’t get those half broken wings you get from a lot of other places. We live in greece, but not to where they deliver unfortunately, so it’s rare we get this pizza since we have to pick it up :(
