The best. All pinterest lovers — get in here! A great place to grab something old and make it into something new! We bought an old door last year and recreated it into our headboard for our master bedroom. Today we stopped in to see their new Retro store and ended up purchasing an antique copper sugar and cream set. Love! If you need some inspiration and want to bring back some history into your house — go to Rehouse!

Man! what a great place to come and check out years gone bye. Each piece of furniture has a little bit of history connected with it. I found old iron hinges from church doors, stained glass windows probably from the same church. This location is about 16,000 square feet with ample amount of parking in the rear of this building. They have windows all sizes and shapes, doors galore, stairways, cabinets of many different stains and styles for your garage, basement or even your very own kitchen along with many different styles of medicine cabinets, Old time radios, phonographs and a classic jukebox. Light fixtures and lamps from the 1920 era right up to what can be found in your own house now. This places offers you quality used building materials that would be considered modern and antique. They are very reasonable with their prices. You should check their website, sometimes they offer discount$ Come and take a walk down memory lane. You will not be disappointed.

I just can’t even begin to describe this place… Located on Ridge Rd in a large retail warehouse(of sorts), every corner is filled with someone’s «I HAVEBEENLOOKINGFOREXACTLYTHISITEM!»… I could build a house with what they have. I think that’s actually the idea, you can build or at least fix what might be currently broken in a house with used and salvaged items. There was normal blah stuff like carpenter oak kitchen cabinets and there was the breath taking treasures like leaded glass doors and art deco chandeliers(maybe not actually 1920’s art deco, but reminiscent of). There was a wall dedicated to door knobs. DOORKNOBS. There are random smaller items like portrait frames and table lamps, there were a couple sofas, there were ovens. OVENS. Ovens from pretty much random eras, an old turquoise wall oven I’d guess from 1950, multiple 1980’s ovens, a few turn of the century ovens… Staircases, cabinet doors, full size doors(possibly hundreds), porcelain tiles(in the basement), reclaimed wood flooring planks… There was half a dozen or so claw foot tubs, ranging in price from $ 120 — $ 350. There were toilets. Lots of toilets. A matching bright green tub and toilet pair. A sitz bath. … not sure what a sitz bath is and I am too smart to google it because I don’t think I want to find out. Please keep it to yourself. The store was well staffed for a Thursday morning but no one was pushy or in our face. We were just getting an idea of what was available and were given space to look around. While it is filled wall to wall, there is still plenty of room to move around comfortably. Prices seemed reasonable for most things, of course the things that were«high priced» were also things that would probably be 10 times that in an antique store.

ReHouse isn’t quite the same as Historic Houseparts, and that’s not a bad thing! The stock here can be radically different and it’s always a surprise what you’ll find. The last time I was here they had a bunch of stuff from the Atomic Eggplant.(What a time warp that was!) Whether you’re looking to save some money, or find accents to restore your home, ReHouse is sure to have what you’ll need to complete your project!

I love this place! The customer service is SUPERB Upon entering the store for the first time I was greeted with smiles, and cookies! Never having shopped here before I came upon a friends recommendation and how glad I am! I needed a screw for a old doorknob that Historic House Parts refused to sell me. The ladies here immediately found the correct screw and gave it to me for FREE! Talk about winning over a customer! I’ve been back many times since then to purchase items for rehabbing my vintage homes. They have always been charming and helpful all the way to loading a large clawfoot tub into my vehicle! I can’t give them enough stars! If you need vintage items to keep your period home looking like the day it was built — go to ReHouse! They kick the crap out of Historic House parts in service and PRICES! They can’t be beat!
