This is one beautiful venue and a landmark in Rochester, which has finally unlocked its doors to the public after ~20 years. It’s a former church from the 1800s that burned down in the 1975. Now, it’s a park. The structure that remains are the walls and the church tower. They’ve maintained the stone archways, iron fencing, and now the space is scattered with small trees. Now that it’s back open, the park will be used for events, weddings, and photoshoots(engagement pics, fashion/editorial, senior portraits, etc.). I attended The Spectral Carnival this year and the venue was a perfect fit for the haunting carnival themed event. With well places string lights and hand painted banners, the space embodied a circus in its heyday. I look forward to seeing this space in use. It is an ideal outdoor venue!
