SUNSET HYDROPONICS

This place has improved over the years since it opened. The first time I came here, which was in 09, I was extremely disappointed with the selection and service. I came a few times over the past couple years for brewing supplies and have been more impressed each time. Their selection of brewing ingredients and supplies have increased. There is a pretty nice selection of base malts and specialty grains that will allow you to formulate nearly any style of beer you want to make. They have expanded their yeast selections too. I was looking for a specific wyeast saison blend and a berliner weiss yeast and they had both in stock, which were well before the expiration date. There are a number of kits, including ales, lagers, and wines.
Attention hot sauce fans: They have a very nice collection of hot sauces. I’m no expert in this area, but it’s certainly cool to check out!
The employees were able to answer a few of my questions, even the more in depth ones, which was a great difference from before. Their prices are reasonable. All in all, a great improvement and I look forward to returning in the future for more homebrewing goods. Review is for 3.25 stars.
