Chicago-​style hot dogs!
I’m not even a hot dog fan and I’ve never been to Chicago, but these are just delish! Polish dogs with sport peppers, diced onions and tasty buns are what this place is all about. Oh… and 50’s style kitsch, and desserts that look fabulous.
Many ice cream choices and some beautiful chocolates. I’ve only had the hot dogs, but I’ll keep coming back.
Try to go in the late afternoon; the mid-​day rush was really busy and the folks behind the counter barely could catch their breath. You’ll probably have better service later in the day.
I think there’s a minimum charge for credit cards, too; you may want to bring cash.
