Just moved to the area and found this Gem! The first time we ordered ham and bacon. Each mouthful had bacon and ham with the wonderful cheese. Just the right amount of sauce for this delicious pizza. I had a group over and ordered 4 pizza delivered. I wasn’t disappointed. I like the fact that all of the toppings were evenly distributed and you have a taste of all the goodness.

Had Village pizza on 3 separate occasions. The first time we would definitely have given it a 3 star rating. A very decent amount of cheese to the very the edge of the crust, nice flavor and pretty tasty. The second time, we were disappointed. Not as much cheese, the tomato sauce tasted like it had just come out of a can, and there were not as many toppings as the first time. But in all fairness, we thought perhaps the second time they were simply«off» and felt it was only fair we give them a third try. Well, sorry to say, once again were disappointed. Sauce not tasty at all, fairly bland, sparce toppings, little cheese and, additionally, this time the cheese ended 2 solid inches from the edge. That’s a lot of empty crust!!! Must say the staff was very nice and friendly, but the pizza just didn’t cut it, and we will not be back. Lastly, after once again, having such a profoundly disappointing pizza, we will never order Pizza from another Rochester restaurant again. Stick a fork in us, we are so done!

Village pizza used to be great, we ordered at least once or twice a week from them. The same person would answer the phone and know our address from our phone number. Approx a year and half ago a young woman started answering the phone and they have gone down hill ever since. You typically have to repeat everything several times, the last straw came when we placed a fairly large order and when it arrived it was all messed it. When we called to complain and talked to the owner he refused to fix it for us claiming it was our fault. We have three picky children who wouldn’t eat what they sent us so they had cereal that night. We have never returned since. They lost good customers over a few pizzas.

The Greek pizza is the best in town, love the basics — pizza, subs and fries. Fast delivery and excellent value.

My family loves Village pizza! We usually have it twice a month. Have never had a bad experience at Village. Village Pizza in Rochester is the best little Pizza shop I have ever been to. Their staff is very friendly, and they even came over to my table and brought the pizza over when it was ready… The toppings and crust are fresh and the sauce is a little sweet… not to mention village pizza’s baklava is to die for. They also have a menu full of hot and cold subs, french fries, onion rings, chicken fingers etc.

Decent Greek pizza. Pricier than Royal House but the place is cleaner and the sauce tastes a little less like canned spaghetti sauce.

Before it really started to snow, I decided to pick up a large pizza for dinner and stopped at Village Pizza in Rochester, which is located at the sharp corner of Route 125& Hancock Street. This casual pizza restaurant serves up Greek style pizza, calzones, subs, salads, pasta dinners, dinner plates, appetizers, Wachusett bag chips, Pepsi products, and baklava. The prices are fair. On Mon-Tues a large cheese pizza is $ 6.99. The place is order at the counter with open kitchen area and a clean dining room with a big flatscreen TV on the wall. The restroom looks modern and clean. I ordered Special #1($ 2 off any large pizza with coupon) and ordered a Large 16″ Meatball Pizza($ 11.75 before discount). The pizza was baked through a Q Matic 80 pizza belt oven and ready in about 15 minutes. The pizza had a light thin crust, firm on the bottom, and crisp along the edges, topped with a slight sweet tomato sauce, plenty of mozzarella cheese, but IMO the meatball topping was on the skimpy side and meatball pieces spread out. Overall, the pizza tasted pretty good, especially watching the snow come down really hard and no power in my town.
