Food is vey succulent Definitely worth a try if you have not been. I would take this over the usual Mexican joints. If you are thinking Mexican you will be surprised.

HEALTH ALERT! We found an old chip that was previously dipped in salsa, which tells me that they reuse chips that have been on someone else’s table. This is horrifying especially during flu season. WARNING!!! DO NOT EAT HERE. I would imagine the salsa is recycled also.

We stopped in late and the service was friendly and quick. Plenty of menu options and excellent salsa options! Hot salsa for those who desire a little kick. I recommend the Vegetarian Quesadilla, with extra beans. Solid amount of fresh vegetables, with not too much cheese.

Okay so after many attempts coming from Arizona (the land of amazing Mexican food) We decided to try this place since it had such good reviews! I ordered the chimichanga… Which despite the fact it tasted good and the chicken was well marinated. They probably placed it in the fryer for about .1 second :(my chimi has got to be crispy! So I was sad about that. My husband ordered a combo plate that he really did enjoy besides the chalupa dealio. And the sauce they toped it with wasn’t the best. The chips and salsa were amazing! I ate a TON lol and also it made me very happy that they had a jalapeño cheese sauce for my chimi. Hence hey didn’t give me much. But with all that said! We will be back and just be making sure to specify a few things with our waitress!

How this place got so many good reviews is beyond me. Horrible horrible. What kind of a Mexican restaurant doesn’t know how to make a decent margarita?
The first one was like syrup and next to no tequila.
The second one was just plain disgusting.
The service was ok.
The food, sub par.
Very disappointed especially when all I wanted was a good margarita :(.

Salas is very very spicy. I loved it!!!
The inside décor is little dates. Definitely not fancy décor but the food is good. I recommend stopping by for lunch specials to try out the menu. I came for dinner time; most items are $ 12.99 and higher. My waiter was very attentive. I will definitely be back

From the exterior, the place did not instill confidence, but the place is pretty good, and I’ll certainly be back when I’m in the area again. I had the flautas — good, tender chicken, good, restaurant-​made corn tortillas. But keep some of the chip salsa available, because it didn’t come with any kind of sauce. Very good guacamole, as well.

Hey! It is good, Mexican food. Service is fast and portions ample. Stopped here for supper after 10hrs on the road. Not chain food which is a relief when traveling. I will be back on my return trip.

Pros: large glass cups of tea … However it lacked flavor very watered down. Nice serving sizes. Rice was soft and had a decent flavor

The food is good, but the service is always great. The team there is very friendly. The salsa is probably the best I’ve had with the complimentary chips. It’s a bit more spicy than you may get at other restaurants, but it’s a good spice. The food is always in great portions. It’s a great choice for those looking for Mexican style food in Rock Hill.

Stopped in today for lunch with my wife after seeing favorable reviews. We were not disappointed. Food was good, service was good, and staff was very friendly. Our drink glasses, chips and salsa were never empty. I got the Enchiladas Verde, wife got the Flautas. Both were excellent. Looking forward to going back.

coming from Southern California, I have been searching for really good Mexican food in the carolinas… sadly to say, my search is still on.
But…
I think this lil place isn’t bad and is probably better than all the Mexican restaurants I’ve tried here so far. The price is right, friendly staff, the food wasn’t bad, margaritas were tasty and i would def come back. This place is large enough for family and friends. when I was there, they had music playing over the speakers.
Don’t let the building, area, and their business banner fool you!
I just wish they would have hotter sauce/​salsa!
my advice… try it! gotta admit it is the best in RH so far. and yes, it is authentic

I was very impressed by the authentic Mexican food. At first glance it might look like a typical American mexican restaurant, but this is truly authentic. They have hand made corn tortillas. The torta ahogada bread comes from Guadalajara where the owners are from. Everything we ordered was truly amazing. This is quickly becoming my favorite weekly spot. Not to mention the margaritas are delicious. The staff is friendly and will accommodate any special request. I recommend trying something you have never had on the menu. You will not regret this place. Give señor nacho a chance!
