For my first-time experience of renting an RV to take my family on vacation, it couldn’t have been any better than working with Collier. From the first email contact with Justin, the experience was positive and educational. He talked with me about the trip we were taking and the number of travelers going. It was then when he made recommendations on the best coaches to rent for our trip. When it came time to pick it up, we were given a detailed orientation on how to use the equipment on the coach. We had such a great time on our trip out West and had a great coach to travel in. We will be in touch with Justin again when we are ready for our next RV family vacation.

They did a great job repairing our Fifth Wheel RV after an accident. It looks as good as new and all operates as it should. I had to get a new truck and hitch, so I installed it without the RV and it was not level for towing. They spent at least an extra hour with two techs to adjust my hitch and the pinbox. It was awesome as they went above and beyond. Thanks.

I feel sorry for these people to have to lie/not be truthful about the very poor quality of the forest river inc rvs that they try to sucker us into buying, I got stuck with a 2015 mirada 35 ls last fall and it’s been a ruff ride to put it lightly, Collier is nice until the deal is done, Then with all the problems you will find come up’ They get very very dumbfounded and start looking at each other for answers, And ask you to bring it back, If they can’t look them over and fix it the first time why would i want to bring it back, If Collier wants good reviews they should get in the habit of looking them over and fixing what they find when they get them in’ Instead of hoping people over look things and buy problems’ Don’t we have better things that we have to get done instead of running miles and miles back and forth to the dealers, We bought a new rv thinking that we would be so happy’ so we could take our family and friends camping and show them what a great time there is to be had, Then reality hits you in the face, Lies Junk rv factory fixes some things and tells the things they won’t fix’ Like they don’t care about happy customers and it will cost them to much money to repair it’ Well in the first place anything not perfect or scratch up’ coming up’ not hooked up’ falling apart’ should not leave the factory, I see collier rv keeps coaches in a fenced in area to keep out people that come buy and take out their frustrations on units are setting in the yard, I believe some of that happened to mine. My brand new coach had been repainted on the sides’ I found some spots where it looked like a key was run down it’ They were painted over, and the out side tv compartment was damaged also, it had been painted with paint did not match at all, Bottom line’ If you want to buy from Collier make an extra extra effort to go over every square inch of it’ Camp in it in the parking lot over night use everything in it’ And absolutely do not sign any loan papers until you are 100% confident that you are getting a coach that will be good to you’ Because no laws will protect you’ I no and have talked to a few lawyers, Collier has signs up looking for technicians’ I think the ones they had are feed up to, We had big dreams and hopes of happy ever after’ But Collier and Coachmen both made that impossible’ Because we are stuck with a 20 year loan and a coach that still has issues after weeks in the factory, And Collier will not do anything to make this horrible nightmare go away, I told them the coach we wanted to trade for but he don’t want mine back for some reason, He will only deal in it’s in his favor, We wish we still the 1995 Winnebago Brave that was payed for and basically a cheery that had many many new parts on it and neat and clean as a pin,

We’ve now had our motorhome, purchased from Colliers, over a year. We’ve had our share of warranty issues and while it is always a pain to have a problem with a brand new unit, Colliers worked with us in every case to make getting the repair as convenient as possible. I was disappointed that at took a several visits for them to correctly diagnosis and repair a significant A/C problem, which they ultimately determined was wired wrong from the factory, but that is behind us. After the initial excitement of our new experience has worn off we can still give Colliers a thumbs up for service before, during and after the sale. I would recommend them to anyone interested in a RV.

STAYAWAY… After you buy from here you are on your own. The service dept is slow to get anything done and will outright laugh at you if you want service completed within a reasonable amount of time. Is a month too long? They do not get service done right the first time in my case.

I can give Collier’s 1 star. Our salesperson was very good. The problems we had after the sale is what will keep us away from now on. It takes on average 3 trips to service to get a problem dealt with. The worst experience was when I had a low coolant warning light and had them look into to it. They had it 3 times and told us there were no problems. We left on a trip out east and while heading up a steep mountain road to our campground in Pa. The warning lights came on again, then the engine shutdown light came on. This was followed in 15 seconds by a shutdown of the engine. Have you ever tried to steer. 20 ton, 41′ coach to the shoulder and get the air brakes set with no power and no steering. Colliers service department gave us a clean bill of health and almost killed my family with their negligence. It turns out the engine has a sensor that when the coolant level is low it will shutdown the engine to protect it just like the warning lights said. When I talked with the manufacturer he said to add some coolant, wow who would have thought, that is what was wrong. The service dept never even checked it or added coolant when I told them about the coolant light. We like the coach, but it will NEVER see Colliers again. When I spoke with the owner, we got nothing from them. Don’t waste your time going there, just go across town and shop at the Winnebago Dealer.

DONOTBUYYOURRVHERE. The owner is dishonest in his communication and will not give you a fair price. If you purchase an RV here, be prepared to pay a lot more than what it is worth. We were former customers who purchased an RV here and wanted to trade up. The salesmen hounded us the whole time we were shopping, but when we finally found what we wanted they would not quote a fair price(we had already done our homework). The owner contacted us after finding out that we purchased the RV we wanted at another dealership for $ 7000 less than what we were told was Collier’s «best price». He tried to get us to buy different RVs that were not what we wanted and were more expensive. Finally, when the time came for us to sell our previous RV back to Him, the owner offered us $ 3000 less than what we were told earlier. We asked why the price changed, and he told us that since we bought our new RV somewhere else he did not care what we did with the old one. We felt cheated and taken advantage of, and we will discourage anyone from doing business with Collier. If only we could give a rating of NO stars…
