Great pizza. Fresh made in about 10 minutes. Menu is very limited. It’s pizza or tacos. Add a drink, bag of chips, or a cookie for dessert and that’s about it. I wasn’t expecting much from a place like this, so I was blown away by the quality and taste of their pizza. Pizza was delicious and crust just perfect. They know what they are doing for sure Smells are free!

Great place to stop for a quick lunch. Amazing pizza made fresh with awesome crust. Individual pizzas that are made in under 10 minutes. Great meal for under $ 10.

Taking over a part of the former kitchen space occupied by The King’s Table II, this is a welcome addition to local lunch options to compete with the other franchised crap nearby. I ordered a «personal sized» cheese pizza; it came out in a timely manner and was fairly greasy, but was tasty to eat once some of the grease was removed by way of a few napkins. The crust was hand-formed and had a decent flavor, too thin in the middle and very thick on the edges(but was done throughout). My only complaint to make this place merely be a three-star(out of five) review has to do with portion-size-to-price ratio; in Rockford, there are MANY non-franchised places one can get a quality pizza, most of which charge a LOT less money for a similar or higher-quality level of product. Per their menu, charging $ 17.95 for a cheese-only 16″ sized pizza is VERY steep when most pizza places here charge around $ 9 for the same size(with at least one topping added at that price) or $ 3 – 4 for a single slice sized similarly to the size of the«personal pizza.» In an era of «$ 5 Footlongs» and«Value meals» at franchised fast-food places and $ 18.99 «24″ ‘Hurricane’-sized(with a 2 liter of name-brand pop and one pizza topping besides the sauce/cheese/crust)» pizzas, charging $ 5 for the type of product delivered seems to be a bit steep; adding more toppings to this for the same price here would be welcome, or charging less for this«entry-level» pizza would seem to be appropriate for them in the Rockford pizza marketplace. Furthermore, the use of a «name”/“Michelin Star» chef and/or «gourmet» ingredients could allow for this sort of pizza pricing here, but neither of these are at Stewart Pizzeria at this time. I am fully knowing their sort of pricing is very typical(and accepted) in bigger cities for this level of product(or better), and is probably considered to be «cheap» pricing if they were instead located at a street-fair/carnival, but Stewart Pizzeria is located in neither of these(in an out-of-the-way food court) and must compete with the local mom-and-pop pizza places charging significantly less than Stewart Pizzeria chooses to do. I would be willing to change my rating if they would change their pizza-pricing in the present local pizza-marketplace; regardless, I wish them success in their location(as no previous restaurant tenant has had long-term business success where this pizzeria is located).
