Great salon for both women and men. As a guy I was really pleased with my haircut and the cool atmosphere (they were playing great music while I was getting my haircut). My stylist was personable and skilled. Plus a great location nearby a lot of cool cafes (Mary’s), so I was able to grab a good lunch and hang out in the salon while my girlfriend got her cut and color (which she was very happy with). Studio Blu is great for Dudes and Chicks :).

I went to Lisa last minute after Facebook messaging the studio. They responded right away and scheduled the appointment according to my schedule. The salon is clean and the staff are very friendly. After cutting my hair and going from platinum blonde to red Lisa also styled it. She had to use the dye three times to make the color up to her standards. After taking her time and making sure it was perfect she only charged me $ 80. They also did an eyebrow wax last minute. Love that a salon cares about ME and not their schedule.

Great atmosphere. Relaxing, friendly and welcoming. Top notch salon. My hair stylist Candy is amazing! I always get so many compliments on my hair after seeing her. Everyone there is just so friendly and welcoming!

There have been two family weddings in Rockford in the last three years, and for both of them, we’ve gone to Kristin and Studio Blu. She is friendly and professional, and I’ve been delighted with her work with my hair both times — especially for my brother’s wedding last month, when I specifically requested BIG hair. She did a fabulous job!
