Tinder Box is my number 1 place in the Rockford area for cigars. They have a good selection and will answer any questions you have including recommending a few. They also have a good selection of pipes, pipe tobacco and smoking accessories.

If you live in Rockford and are looking for a cigar. This is a good place to stop. They have a decent selection along with selling a lot of accessories one needs to smoke and store cigars.
The selection isn’t as wide and varied as I would have seen at other cigar shops I’ve visited, but they do a good job. Every time I buy a cigar from them they also include a box of wooden matches. Which I prefer to light my cigars. It causes less tainting of the cigars taste.
The staff is friendly, but sometimes if there is a regular in there they will chat with them for extended periods of time and ignore others shopping. You have to interrupt the conversation to get assistance.
So if you are looking for a cigar or buying for a cigar fan in your life.

I’ve been in here a number of times. The selection is great, and the people are very helpful. It’s a little out of the way for me to get here, but it’s worth the hike to patronize a store that values their customers.
