Robin’s Nest

I will try not to drool as I type this, not making any promises, but Robin’s Nest is my new gelato spot! I’ve been looking for an amazing gelateria that I can compare to those in Europe, and finally my work is done! I’ve searched in the North End of Boston for a while and the gelato there is good, but not like it used to be. Robin’s Nest homemade gelato has such an amazing variety of flavors. The owners let me take my time to sample anything I wanted and I got to mix and match my order. The flavors are so potent that I could barely finish. Folks, when it comes to gelato, it’s all about savoring the flavors, enjoying life in the process and not stuffing your face; unlike ice cream. Gelato is healthier and has less calories! The pricing at Robin’s Nest is miraculous. Never have I gotten gelato for such a cheap price. This place is a must and you can enjoy your gelato on their little quaint benches or walk down towards the ocean and enjoy the view.

Absolutely amazing! Super friendly folks (are you sure you’re from Massachusetts?!). Absolutely delicious ice cream. Their hazelnut is superbly creamy, gorgeous and wonderful. Their dairy-​free pomegranate-​blueberry was out of the world! Amazing not only for a vegan alternative, but definitely rivals dairy counterparts.

Excellent selection of sorbets for those needing dairy-​free, and craving a delectable frozen dessert with a creamy ‘ice cream’ feel! All homemade and flavors vary regularly to keep choices interesting.

My son, Kyle, and I discovered Robin’s Nest three years ago while visiting Rockport from our home in Colorado. Ever since that first summer, we go out of our way to visit Robin’s Nest and we’ve told all of our friends in the Rockport area about it. The gelato is amazing, the store is spotless and inviting, and the owners, Robin and Joe, are lovely. If you’re in the area and want a treat, Robin’s Nest is a great place to stop, grab some gelato and wander around Rockport and take in the sights. Two thumbs up!

We just found this wonderful gelato! Just spent two weeks in Italy, eating gelato everyday! Started hunting for it as soon as we got home! North End was very disappointing! Robins Nest made me think I was in Italy! It was fantastic! Deep flavor, just the right consistency (which is very important!), and reasonably priced. Such nice people, spent a long time chatting. We almost drove back to Rockport the next day for the gelato! Going back this weekend ! Stop in and try it! It’s much better than ice cream, and better for you! So happy to have found them!

Very good gelato! I will probably always prefer Dolce Freddo Gelato in Methuen, which is amazing, but this is the second best gelato I’ve ever had. The shop is small and cute, the employees were friendly, and the gelato was very creamy. I had an almond cherry (delicious) and a very rich chocolate (decadent.) My son had an orange-​vanilla creamsicle flavor and said it was great, and my husband said his pink lemonade was very soft and smooth.

A great little treat after a gorgeous day in the cape. The owner was very nice and offered to sample as many flavors as I wanted. Reasonably priced, $ 3.50 for 2 scoops to which you can choose any 2 flavors you would like with a little cone on top. (Coffee cookie appeared to be a popular choice) The sorbets were delicious as well. I personally mixed the raspberry champagne with the strawberry gelato and it was awesome. It seems as though their flavors change frequently, so I am excited to see what there is new to try on our next trip!

I have been going here since they opened and will never, ever stop.
They make their gelato with loving care, and you can tell. EVERY flavor, and I mean every one (even the ones I shouldn’t like, such as Jack Daniels) is tasty. They let you mix and match, and the prices aren’t all that unreasonable for homemade gelato.
Godiva chocolate is truly a chocolate masterpiece. Couple that with Tiramisu and/​or Hazelnut and you’ve got a winning combo.
Their fruit gelatos and sorbets are so very good (lime, lemon, raspberry) and fresh tasting. Not too much sugary sweetness in any of these flavors.
If you like Guinness, you may be lucky enough to happen upon them with that flavor out. I don’t care for any alcoholic beverage much, but combine the Guinness (stout) with a chocolate gelato and you’ll kinda be in a weird sort of heaven.
The owners are also super nice and they kids they hire are groomed to be friendly, too.

All I can say is GO to Robin’s Nest in picturesque Rockport for a scrumptious treat –GELATO — that is SO delicious it will drive your taste buds crazy! I tried the heavenly Godiva chocolate. It is enough to exceed the expectations the most particular chocolate lover. Lemoncello, raspberry champagne, key lime pie, black raspberry are also excellent .You can get two flavors in a cup with or without a cone for a very reasonable price. Yum, Yum! The flavors are plentiful and keep changing. All are made with all natural ingredients — REAL FRUIT etc. and are half the calories of regular ice cream which is so ordinary. Get GELATO at Robin’s Nest for something extraordinary and oh so good!

Great flavors. Really nice owners. What else can you ask for? And they were really nice and helped get us a water for our puppy who was pooped out from the days adventures.

Good taste, great atmosphere, and awesome time we spent at this place.

We have been getting Gelato at Robin’s since they opened. It is a great place and the flavors are amazing. Try a mix of the wild strawberry and Godiva chocolate. Robin and Joe are great people who will welcome you their place.

GREAT, UNIQUE GELATO FLAVORS AND VERY HOSPITABLE OWNERS. They make their gelato with love and you can taste it. Had a great time eating our gelato and talking to Robin and Joe, the owners. We tried the Orange Stracciatella, Black Raspberry, Caramel Brownie and Grapenut Custard flavors. All very good and and unique. As I foodie, I highly recommend this place for dessert or a snack!

BETTER THAN ANY OTHER ICE CREAM/​GELATO PLACE IN ROCKPORT! Lots of great gelato! Awesome flavors! Italian Ice is great too! Robin and Joe are the best!
