Family business that does it right. Super friendly staff. I had the blueberry pancakes with eggs and bacon. Everything was delicious especially the perfect bacon. Best I’ve had in my life. Wonderful thing about Unilocal is I stumbled upon this place as I was looking for a place near Lexus while I waited for my car. Go eat breakfast here!

Love CJs best breakfast around. It is worth the wait. Love the hometown feel. Great prices! Don’t miss out on this place.

I try to stop by here when ever I’m in the area. I’m living in Queens now so its not always so easy. Recently stopped by here yesterday while my car was getting checked out by my mechanic a few minutes walk away. The people here have always been so welcoming. The service is great.
I ordered Jen’s Jumpstart Burger, ½fries & ½ onions rings and a B&W Shake. The food was really good especially for the price. The Jen’s jumpstart is a cheese burger with bacon and a fried egg. So yummy. The skinny fries and onion rings were good too. The shake was perfect.
The bill came to $ 13 and change for all that. Where else are you gonna get great food, awesome service for an amazing price? Left a $ 5 tip… well worth it. As someone who has worked in the food industry for years… I know what great service is and you guys are awesome. The food is good especially for the price. Looking forward to my next visit…

This is like a mom and pop café shop… which I actually love! They’re very attentive, and most importantly the food is excellent! Great place for pancakes and brunch.

I love this old fashion coffee shop. There are not many tables and it is very crowded on weekends. There is usually a wait. I had there form of an omelette. It was great. It is cash only so be prepared.

Best coffee shop! Everyone is so friendly, they know all of their customers, always crowded, but it’s worth a 5 minute wait. Take out is always hot.

I love this place! Old school charm, excellent food & service. A real authentic coffee shop that doesn’t try to be anything else and does it really good.

I previously came here on a Sunday when the place was closed. Had to return and get a shot at their yummy breakfast.
You can go to the diner or a bagel store for breakfast, but just know you’re not going to get a plate this delicious; one cooked with this quality.
For this reason, I chose French toast, not my favorite but harder to get right than a waffle.
Well let me tell you, this egg-​bathed bread was a raucous party in my mouth that made me nearly forget about last night’s thanksgiving dinner.
I am a new fan of CJs coffee shop and I can even understand why they choose not to open on Sundays. Church attendance might be affected if they did.

By far my favorite little coffee shop around. The food is always very good and reasonably priced. The service is quick and with a smile. I’ve stuck to breakfast items… next time I’ll try a burger. Enjoy!

Very cozy

CJ’s Coffee Shop was a pleasant surprise! Places that usually close early and only specialize in breakfast/​brunch/​lunch are theeee best! The great reviews confirmed my statement so I bookmarked this place a while ago and finally was able to stop in.
When we got there of course it was crowded so that’s a great sign. Luckily the waitress let us know that a table was getting up so we could sit there. Otherwise, we were going heading towards the countertop seating.
Most of the meals come with tea, coffee, or hot chocolate! Free hot chocolate with my meal… Yes! Already a great start!
We ordered and the food came out really fast. I just got scrambled eggs and bacon with home fries and toast, and we shared a stack of pancakes. We were totally satisfied.
This coffee shop is family owned and the entire staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Great food, great prices, great service! I’ll be back.

Solid breakfast spot.
I’ve had the eggs, corned beef hash (yum!), omelette, coffee, and French toast (double yum!), and it’s all been delicious.
This place is nothing fancy, but exactly what you’d expect from a local diner, with snappier service. Buyer beware — this establishment is CASH ONLY. Though they do have an ATM on premises in case you screw up like I did.

I had breakfast here on a Wednesday around noon. Had one of the best spinach and feta cheese omelette! The staff was friendly. Their coffee is excellent as well. I will be returning.

Great breakfast and lovely staff. We had a tasty spinach feta omelette and blueberry pancakes — delicious. Nice down to earth atmosphere here, you feel that it’s a family business. Would definitely come back when I’m in Rockville again.

Every time I visit Rockville centre we have to go to CJ’s for breakfast… not only is the food excellent, but the staff is very accommodating. Highly recommend it… can’t wait to go back.

Consistently good. This family run coffee shop is 2 blocks from home. If you haven’t been, check it out. Very friendly people, and a good lunch too.

Appearance is bad, bathroom is horrible. Very small cramped tables. Sharing a table with someone I don’t know is not my cup of tea. Food was mediocre at best, small portions left me hungry, never again, only positives were friendly people and good potato salad

My boyfriend and I have always wanted to try CJ’s and when we went last Saturday morning, they did not disappoint! The staff was very friendly. It has a mom and pop vibe, where all the customers know the owners and everyone is greeted with a friendly «hello!» I got scrambled eggs and hash on a sandwich. Cannot complain, it was very good. We also ordered the chocolate chip pancakes to share– they were light and fluffy. So delicious! And the food was ready so fast which is awesome because we were in a hurry! Definitely recommend this gem!

I have to start off by saying that the people who work here are by far the friendliest staff I have ever encountered in a restaurant.
We (me and my mother) walked in a were warmly greeted by 3 different people. They cleaned off a table for us and handed us a lunch menu and breakfast menu the waitress was also very funny.
The whole time we were eating various members of the waitstaff came to check if we were okay or needed a refill. They were really on top of things.
I was falling asleep when I walked in here and was in need of a cup of caffeine.
Coffee $ 1.00 and unlimited refills. And you would think for that price that it would be bad quality coffee but, It wasn’t, it was a good cup of joe!
I ordered the Johnny special. Roast beef, mozzarella cheese, and gravy on a roll with french fries. YUM! Tons of roast beef on a soft fresh roll. I should have got an extra side of gravy though because I liked my roast beef and fries smothered. Came with a pickle and some cole slaw. The fries were steaming hot and not greasy!
On Unilocal it said that they took credit cards but I feel as though someone made a mistake.
We watched about twenty people pay with cash and decided yup this place is cash only.
But we didn’t fret because they had an atm right in the shop.
I had to look up what the sandwich I ate was called and I stumbled upon this information.
