Ramona gave me THE BEST blow out I’ve ever had. After checking out the reviews on Unilocal I decided to give it a try and I’m so glad I did.
I received a great shampoo and deep condition, a roller set, blow dry with flat iron and a cut. All for $ 68. My hair looks and feels like silk and Ramona listened to everything I wanted and made sure to ask if I was sure before proceeding.
I’m beyond thrilled with how my hair looks and feels and I’m so happy I found this salon. My hair is thick and curly and Ramona handled it with perfection– she truly knows how to style.

Im giving Ramona five stars, not only because of how good my hair came out, but also based on how friendly and inviting she is. She works alone so if it’s busy there will be a wait. In fact when I came it took about three hours to get my hair done but I will admit I have very thick, long hair and have to stay under the dryer for over an hour. All in all, I have no issue with the wait time based on how nice my hair came out and her reasonable price and friendliness. Like I said, my hair is very long and thick and I paid $ 50 for a wash and set. In Gaithersburg, I usually pay $ 65 so I thought $ 50 was reasonable. I highly recommend Ramona but would probably not come on a weekend since I can only assume it gets pretty busy. I do know her daughters help her so maybe it isn’t as bad as I am imagining but Ive only come on weekdays.

They did a fantastic job on my hair. It was silky and shiny when I left the salon and I immediately knew I’d be back. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is very friendly. I have natural hair and sometimes like to wear it straight. When I do, this will be the place I will go to every time. Highly recommended!

I gave them five stars for many reasons besides hair. First off, they know how to do some hair. Period. I’ve only had a Dominican blowout once before and it traumatized me. The heat and the price were just too rich for my blood. However, after some years, I decided to try another salon. I couldn’t have chosen better! This salon was soooo much better. Ramona did my hair and she is wonderful! I walked in and was immediately put into the chair… that never happens. Prices were reasonable and affordable. My hair looks fabulous!

Rarely have I waltzed into an establishment prior to reading its reviews. My hair was in need of some TLC to say the least. Now, I’ve had a blow out before and refused to get another one because of the heat.
Now three years later, I stood on Ramonas salon steps. With apprehension I entered as a walk in and waited. I was surprised that she was the only stylist in her salon though. She was quick, attentive and super friendly.
I have never had a shampoo like that. She washed my hair so well. I was beyond happy with the final result
Unlike my first blow out years prior, my hair did not feel weak and brittle. Instead it was shiny and super healthy. She trimmed my ends which made my hair bounce ! I’m not sure what sets her blow out apart from others. Maybe it’s the wash or her technique or products or a combo of everything.

I had a great experience today, Ramona attended me after closing hours, she greeted me with a big smile. I was charged a reasonable price for a wash and cut. I left very happy. I highly recommend Ramona for cuts on curly hair.

This place is absolutely wonderful! Ramona is the most bubbly and enthusiastic woman! I got a blow out, and the process took less than two hours! I asked her not to use too much heat on my hair, which she did not, and my hair looked and felt Beyoncé fabulous when I walked out. Also, she offers delicious coffee! From the first day I visited this salon, I felt right at home :)
I will definitely be coming back, and I have recommended this place to all the women I know who live around!

The owner did my hair and I can honestly say that it was the best! My unruly, curly hair was straight, shiny and beautiful. I had an event that night and was so incredibly happy that it turned out PERFECT!!! Several people complimented me on how great my hair looked. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants their hair to be nice and straight! It’s been several days and my hair continues to look great. I will definitely return.
